Sam and Dean sat in the bunker, casually sipping piping mugs of strong and bitter coffee when Sam's cellphone rang. He motioned for Dean to shut up and then he answered it, assuming his FBI voice.

"Hello, this is agent Gabriel yes... Another murder in Beacon Hills... You're sure that the sheriff requested help... Be there in a couple days... Thank you..." Sam ended the call and smiled to himself before he turned to look at Dean.

"That was Chris Argent, Dad's cousin. There's been a bunch of strange murders in Beacon Hills and he wants us to check it out. Before you say anything, he has a teenage daughter that doesn't about the life so he doesn't really want to get involved. So pack your bags and pack a lot because we're staying a while."

Dean shook his head but got up and began to trudge to his room to throe some clothing in a duffel bag along with his weapons and IDs amongst other things.

Soon they headed down the road, cruising along with their impala purring listening to nothing but old rock music.

"Seriously though Dean, this music is bland. We should definitely put something else on."

Dean smirked and shook his head.

"Driver picks the music and shotgun shuts his cake hole."
"Let me drive then."

"No thanks Sammy. I'm the one that drives my baby. Maybe later though."

They continued to argue back and forth until they finally reached their destination of Beacon Hills, California.

"Why am I not surprised to find you at the crime scene Stiles?" Asked his Father, Sheriff Stilinski as he reprimanded his son and his son's friends.

"I told all of you to stay out of this until your finals this year are over but you apparently cannot listen to me."

"I'm sorry Dad but Lydia had a feeling." Stiles stopped talking as Sam walked up to the crime scene, holding his badge in the air.

"I'm agent Gabriel and I've been called to investigate this series of murders. I'm assuming that you're sheriff Stilinski."

Stiles backed away and his father nodded, knitting his brows in confusion.

"I don't recall asking for the FBI so why exactly are you here agent?"

"Well Beacon County decided that this was too much to handle by yourself so I got involved. I would appreciate it if you could run me through this scene and what you believed happened."

Sam tuned to look at Stiles.

"Shouldn't you be in class?"

"Uh no, exams just started so no I don't have to be in class."

After much persuasion and some yelling, Stiles and his friends left the crime scene and Sheriff Stilinski led Sam through the crime scene.

"Two lifeguards found the body floating in the water this morning at about eleven o clock and they found the witness with blood all over her hands, hiding in the storage room. She hasn't been talking to anyone yet. Judging by the way the body was torn up, it looks like wild animals attacked it but we haven't had an attack in two and a half years." Sam nodded and observed the body.

The corpse was that of a woman in her early twenties and judging by her swollen and bloated body, she had been dead for at least a couple of hours. He rolled her over on to her back and gazed at her front side.

Deep claw marks had cut her throat and breasts to ribbons, gouging so deep into her sensitive flesh that ribs and tendons could be seen by the naked eye. Dried blood stayed on her sides, forever a rusty reminder of her once vibrant life. Her eyes were open and glassy looking until Sam took a closer look and realized that they were glass eyes. He called over the sheriff and when the glass eyes were removed, they both could see that her eyes had been gouged out and all that remained was a pair of bloody, meaty holes with maggots and flies no doubt festering in the open wounds.

Sam rolled her over again and he squinted in confusion as she flopped over like a rag doll. The sheriff thought this was odd too and upon a closer inspection, they found that her spine had been removed via an incision under left breast.

"Thank you for the run through Sheriff Stilinski. I'd love to say that this was a werewolf attack to simplify things but those creatures don't exist unfortunately."

It was at that moment that Sam knew that the sheriff knee something that he want telling him. The look of horror and panic in his eyes gave him away instantly.

" Have you identified the body yet Sheriff?"

"No we have not."

"Well, this is the body of Jo Harvelle, a citizen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Well enough with that. I think I'll speak with the witness now."

The sheriff led Sam over to the witness and left hint here as he went to contact another sheriff.

"Hi Lily, I'm agent Gabriel and I'm going to ask you a few questions OK."

She nodded and Sam proceeded with his questions.

"Did you see the actual murder occur and if so do you know who did it? Were there any cold spots or electrical surges or maybe a smell of sulfur around? Anything you can say no matter how crazy it sounds could potentially help us."

"Well, I saw part of it. It was just someone leaving the pool area but it was too dark so I couldn't see their face. It did get suddenly cold, I did smell rotten eggs and the lights flickered and then the bulbs blew up and shattered. I think it was a ghost but I don't know."

Sam left Lily alone, thanked the sheriff for his cooperation and drove the impala back to the motel they were staying at.

"Dean, there's definitely something weird going on here and we need to get to the bottom of it."

Dean looked up and glared at Sam.

"Looks like you're going back to high school Dean."
