Changing Fate

Chapter 2-Accidental Happenings

January 9, 1967

Severus lays quietly sleeping in his bed. when his door creaked open Hermione charged in and ran to his bed screaming "Sev, Sevy!!! Wake up its your birthday!!" Startling him from his sleep Severus rolls over to look at Hermione with a childish glare and says "No it's to early!". He rolls back on to his side facing away from Hermione hoping she will leave, but sadly that doesn't not work. Against his wishes Hermione crawls onto his bed and whispers into his ear "But Sevy, there's cake and presents." Severus perks up at the sound of this and turns quickly to hermione. "There is?" Hermione slowly nods her head "Yes silly now get up before you miss your party!" More awake severus gets up from his bed with more haste and runs ahead of Hermione ignoring her yelling for him to slow down and wait for her.

Once Severus reaches the dinning room his mother yells at him for being indecently dressed. Looking down he shamefully realizes what a mess he is in. Still dressed in his pajamas, Severus turns bright read and turns to his mother with big eyes wide with panic and embarrassment . His mother slowly smiles and shoos him back to his room to get dressed. Once everyone is gathered into the dining room once again severus sits down in front of his cake with a look of excitement.

After the celebration Severus and Hermione walk outside to play. Severus suddenly stops and looks around the backyard.He looks down at Hermione and says,"I wish it would snow." With a childish pout on his face Hermione slowly looks up at her friend with a look of focus on her face and says " I wish I could give you snow." Moments later small white fluff start to fall in a small area around them. With a happy cheer Hermione jumps for joy and says "Look isn't it wonderful!" Severus ,with a look awe on his face,and hugs Hermione to him.

Voldemort walks out ,but before he reaches his daughter and his godchild he realizes the small amount of snow covering the ground around them. His hard exterior slowly slips to a look of happiness and pride. He quickly jogs over and picks his daughter up and asks "Did you conjure up this snow?" Hermione eagerly nods and says " Severus wanted snow so I gave him snow! It is after all his birthday."Voldemort quickly calls his wife and everyone outside to see what his daughter has created.

Bellatrix runs outside to see what the commotion is about when she sees her husband smiling. She panics and runs over when she finally sees the snow on the ground and looks at your husband expectantly. Voldemort looks to his wife and says " Hermione has finally obtained her magic". Bellatrix slowly smiles and takes her daughter from Voldemort, while bestowing a kiss upon her forehead to show her happiness. Voldemort slowly turns to the crowd that has gathered and says "An extra celebrations is order".

*Authors Note* I finally updated i know its alittle short.I'm so sorry I know I have been saying I will update and I haven't, but my friend and I finally got time to update hopefully after one or two chapters we can really start the story fully.I also wanted to let all of you know that it might be a while till the next update because I'm moving out of the state I am living in which means my friend and I will have to write chapters with eachother over the phone which will be difficult and it will be take awhile for me to get settled in. I hope y'all understand and keep reading!
