Chapter 4

<After School>
{Maya's Pov}
*it's after school and I'm with Sarah, Riley, Farkle, and Josh.

[Maya's Life Thoughts]
That's basically my crew. I mean. It's like I said. I guess you can say some miracle brought us all together. I mean, Sarah, yeah she's my sister, but it's more than just that. Sarah's my other half. She's my best friend. Riley. Well, Riley, I met her when I was 6. I moved here from Los Angeles, California and went to the same elementary as her. I had no friends when I had moved here, it was only me and my sister, until we found Riley. It was all in 1st grade. Since we moved here, they always made Sarah stay in the same grade as me, even if she was 2 years older than me. She's 18. We're all in 12th grade. Josh. I met him at 14. Riley had introduced me to him. That's her uncle. (Youngest uncle). And Farkle! I met Farkle when I was in 3rd grade. He was always the "ladies" man. Lol

{Maya's Pov}
*Me, Sarah, Riley, Farkle, and Josh all went to this place we would all go to when we were little. It was in back of this park that we would always like to play at when Riley, Sarah, and I were little. Well, ever since we got into High school, we'd always go to the back of that park and hang out there. We would just sit there and talk.
*we got there and just sat down and talked
(Sarah) "Hey. So I heard that Kayla's throwing a Christmas party this Friday night. Wanna crash it?"
(Me) "Kayla? As in the Kayla Montgomery?!"
(Sarah) "Yeah."
(Riley) "Since when were we the type of people to hang out with Kayla?"
(Me) "Yeah Sarah. We've never been the type to hang out with those types of crews."
{Author's Pov}
Kayla Montgomery is the most poplar chick at their school, she's not one of the main character's though.
{Maya's Pov}
....
(Sarah) "Guys! We're not hanging out with them! We're just crashing it."
(Josh) "Um. Yeah, I don't think we should."
(Sarah) "Why?"
(Farkle) "Her dad is our principal's boss. He could easily tell him to expel us from school."
(Josh) "Plus. I heard he payed a fortune to get all the stuff needed for that party."
*Sarah looks at us with wide eyes. Riley and I both raise our eyebrows at her
(Sarah) "...UGH! Okay fine. But I got five invitations for us!!"
*she takes the invitations out of her bag and waves it around all of us with a big smile on her face
(Me) "What?! Sarah! No. We are not going."
(Riley) "Ugh! Come on Maya. Have some fun in your life!"
(Me) "Really?"
*i say raising my eyebrows
(Me) "Says the girl who actually believed their was an astronaut on horse in our LIVING ROOM!"
(Riley) "I believe it!"
*she says smiling and looking starlight at me
(Me) "Yeahh.. Well, Sarah. Why do you wanna go anyways?"
(Sarah) "Because she's hosting a Karaoke challenge! And I need you to sing!!"
(Me) "Oh.. N-Nooo.., Sarah. You know I don't like singing in front of people!"
(Farkle) "But you sing in front of us."
(Josh) "Yeah. Maya, come on!! You have an amazing voice. You can do it."
(Riley) "Please..!!"
(Me) "No."
(Sarah) "Pleassseeee!!!"
(Me) "No! That's my final answer!"
(Riley) "Peaches."
*she says smiling and putting her hands together
*i looked around and everyone was looking at me smiling
(Me) "... N-Ugh!! Fine!"
(All of them) "Yay!!!!"
*Josh and Farkle left home before me, Riley, and Sarah
*Me, Sarah, and Riley finally started leaving
*we all bought ice-cream and were walking to  Riley's house while playing around and laughing
*The song "Cake By The Ocean" by DNCE was playing (like if it was in a movie) lol.

(Back to the Story!)
*So, we went to the ice cream shop, and went to go buy cupcakes and groceries for Riley's house
*we finally got back to Riley's house and the song stopped playing btw. Lol😂
*we got back through the bay window and just went in
(Riley) "Okay! We're here!"
*we put the stuff in the kitchen and sit down on the couch
(Maya) "I wanna stay here. For-ever!"
*i said laying down on the couch, closing my eyes with a smile on my face
(Riley) "Can you ask your mom if you can sleepover"
*Riley's asks from the kitchen putting away the groceries
(Me) "Sarah?"
(Sarah) "Already calling"
*she goes outside to call her
*Riley comes back to the living room and lifts up my legs to sit and puts them on her lap
(Riley) "Maya?"
(Me) "Hm?"
*i said with my eyes closed smiling
(Riley) "Are you still not talking to your mom?"
*my smile goes away but my eyes are still closed
(Me) "No Rile's. I'm still not talking to her."
(Riley) "Oh, Maya. You gotta get over this."
*i open my eyes and sit up
(Me) "Excuse me?"
(Riley) "What?"
{Author's Pov}
*Sarah's still talking on the phone with her mom outside
{Maya's Pov}
(Me) "How could you say that?"
(Riley) "Okay. What? What did I say Maya?"
(Maya) "You know how much she hurt me doing that! How could you even say that I have to get over this?!"
*i said standing up yelling at her
(Riley) "Okay. I'm sorry. Can we just please forget about this?"
*she said looking down
(Me) "Of course."
*she looks back up at me and stands up reaching her hands out for a hug
(Riley) "We cool?"
*she said smiling
(Me) "We're cool."
*said smiling and giving her a hug
*Sarah comes back in
(Sarah) "Okay! So m-... What happened?"
*we break the hug
(Me) "Nothing. Just a little fight. But we're cool."
(Sarah) "Okay good! Because mom said yes."
(All of us) "Yay!!"
