A Second With Yorky (boyxboy)

Chapter 4

I took a shower and I texted my friends to know if she was going to come. I waited for the reply but I didn't get one right away. I made me something to eat and I checked my phone. She messaged me.

"Luke I'm sooooooooooo sorry!!!I had something to do. I wnt be able to go visit. u. I'm sorry ;c...ill call yuhh wen I'm done"

So much for the big bff visit. 6:50pm. I sat down and watched T.V. Around 20 minutes later, my phone vibrates. Unknown number?  How odd. Never get unknown calls.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Luke?" the familiar voice asks. Yorky was calling me.

"Hey. How'd u get my number?" I ask.

"Elena gave it to me. I called her cause you didn't give me your number." he replies.

"Huh. Go Figure".

"Are you ready?".

"Ready?For what?".

"The party Luke!!!!". The party!!!!!!I had totally forgot about it. I wosent even ready at all.

"Omg!!!I forgot!!!Ill be out in a sec!!" I tell him.

"Alright. ill wait for you. Hurry though.".

"Yea,yea ok!! Bye." and I hang up.

I walk outside and I see him standing in front of his car. I run across the street and I give him a sorry-that-i-kept-you-waiting smile. He smiled back.

"You're late" he says.

"Only by a second." I reply. I get in and he starts driving. He turns on the radio and Rap music starts playing. I make a face of disgust.

"What is it?" he asks.

"I hate rap music" I tell him.

"What?!They're the best!!".

"Not to me there not. There boring and stupid. I don't understand what there saying. Besides, I'm more of a pop and rock type of person.".

"I can see. Fine, you choose a station that you like.". I started clicking and I finally found the right station. I felt a lot better. Radioactive by imagine dragons was playing but was almost over."There not that bad" Yorky says.

"I know" I say. Then my song came on. I jumped of excitement and started singing the We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together song by Taylor Swift. Yorky laughs of the way I act. I calm down for a sec and I relax in the car. Then I remembered about the kiss. I totally forgot about it. I never really tend to forget stuff but it came back to mind. I didn't want to bring the subject up so I dropped it.

We made it to the party safe and sound. And like I predicted, there were drugs and drinks. I shook my head displeased. I spotted Elena, Dave and Osmara sitting and enjoying the time there. Elena saw me and told me to come.

"So you were right. This party is really bad" Elena confirmed.

"I told you" I say. I spotted Mark, talking to some guys and he saw me. He was walking towards us.

"He Luke!!You made it!" he says.

"No shit Sherlock." I say sarcastically.

"You know, screw you Luke. Elena wanna dance?"he asks her. Elena's eyes open and she nods. Dave then asks Osmara to dance and they go to the dance floor. I wosent really into the party. So I went out in the patio.

The moon shined its brightest tonight. The starts gloomed in the dark sky. I was alone. And I didn't mind. I closed my eyes and relaxed in the cold night.
