I saw the look on the lady behind the counters face change from anger to understanding. I took back my money and picked up my bags. Jason seemed happy but for some reason...

I didn't.

Not because my dad cheated on my mum, because to be honest she deserved it. But I wasn't happy because I had a brother, someone I thought would have stuck by me through these hard times. Well I can't drag on the past.

"Glad to have you around sis"

"Don't call me that please, I need answers"

"Woah! You sound so serious, well okay I will give you some answers but not all of them"

"Why not all of them, do I not deserve them? Well I can tell you something BRO that I have had one tough day today which involved me finding out that my boyfriend who I happened to love VERY much cheated on me and took all MY yes MY friends with him!"

"Who is this dude? Because I will seriously kick his butt if he ever EVER takes my sister for granted"

Great I have had a brother for less than five minutes and I already wish he wasn't so protective. Well I don't know about him but I am not going to act all nicey nicey to spare his feelings. We had arrived at a bus stop near the train station; I took my seat and waited for the bus to arrive.

"So your not going to answer me? Look I know I haven't been there for you, but I am now. You can stay with me at Cit-"

"Woahh hold up, rewind I said I am not gong there. I don't care whether you go or not. I willfind a place to stay and then I will attend the same school I have been going to with my boyfr-" Jason looked at me weirdly, and he had every right to. Who was I kidding, I had NO-where to go and I also have NO boyfriend. So maybe I might be better at City Heights.

"Friends, yes I meant friends."

"Well tough because if you haven't noticed I'm older than you, so i make the decisions. Unless you want to go back to your mum which also means attending City Heights then I suggest you come with me and stop making out that City Heights is the worst school ever"

"Whatever, but if I don't like it I will seriously leave and stay over at one of my mates house that didn't betray me"

"Well that won't happen" Jason said with a wide grin on his face.

"You may think I don't have any friends but I can assure you that I can get anything I want with just-"

"No idiot I meant that won't happen because they won't let you leave without permission from a family member, and seeing as that family member is me then you are stuck at City Heights till you are old enough to get a proper job"

I slapped him. Yes that's the third time today and I don't think I should make it a forth. The bus arrived and I hopped on and took my seat at the very back. Jason was still outside with his hand on his cheek. Then he too popped onto the bus but he sat at the front.

I looked out of the window and watched the houses and cars go by, knowing that the only time I can see them again are on weekends like Jason has. I looked back at him as he stood up. What was he doing? Oh god he was walking this way. I quickly turned back to the window as I saw him take a seat beside me out of the corner of my eye.
