Ava lifted her head from the toilet bowl and stood up. She closed the toilet lid and flushed, washed her hands and turned off the light.

The blinding light of the bedroom dazzled through, illuminating the eerie darkness of the hallway, Ava's eyes widened.

She plonked her body limply onto the bed and shut her eyes. She was tired. She had been up all the night before, softly, she pulls her body up, just enough for her to gently fall backdown onto the corner of her bed. And thinks.

Ava let out a sigh and looked at her wrists. Lines of torture covers her pastel, delicate skin. Tears start to roll down her face as she realises no one truly understands how unhappy she is.

Downstairs, a door opens and Ava hears her mum's voice calling her, probably telling her to come down for tea, but Ava is too distracted to hear.

Thoughts run through her mind and the thought of the little box in the draws by her bed, runs at the back of her brain, begging to be noticed.

Ava brushes the thought temporarily from her mind and gets up to go down stairs. "More food?" the voice in her head whispered, " Fat, that's what you are, fat..." She sighed.

The voice seemed to be whispering more often now. She caught a whiff of the food her mum was bringing to the table. Fresh spinach and ricotta pasta, Ava's favourite.

Those killer thoughts returned once again, like they had at lunch... and breakfast. Food... Evil... Fat...

Downstairs, she slowly sat down at the table and picked up her fork. She began to eat.

When she was about half way done she asked to be excused and makes her way to the bathroom.

She opens, then closes the bathroom door firmly and gets on her knees. Two fingers make her way down her throat and her stomach lurches, forcing her to gag.

She does it again, only this time, her stomach lurches, and she vomits, aiming for the toilet.

She doesn't get the fingers out her throat in time and ends up with her dinner all over her hands. She sighs. "It's gunna be a long night..."
