The Recording Session

Caro's POV:

we had to go to the studio again today! but we dont get there till 11.

simon wants us to record 'i see you'. then were going to have someone help us write another song. we have to work fast because we want the first album to come out soon.

im not sure who is helping us with the new song.well find out.

were recording today because tomorow were shooting for our very first music video! its going to be so awesome!

anyways, when we got to the studio we walked into simon's office.

jonny,mike,and mark followed us.

"hello girls. let me take you to the recording booth now." he said.

we walked into a room. it had a sound system and a clear glass that shows into another room with mics in it. (that was the recording booth)

"hi girls!im luis! im in charge of the sound system." said a guy sitting down. he had brown hair and he was really tan.

"hi."we all said. i feel as if we are meeting a millin people a day!

"go ahead and go into the sound booth and put your headphones on. there is the music sheets in front of you,just incase you forget the lyrics. there is also water in their." he said. we did as we were told.

we all stood in front of a mic a placed the headphones on our ears.

"alright girls,were going to start the music." luis said in the mic.

i started the singing with my solo.

i sang on perfect pitch.

next was briana's solo.

she held her high note too high!so we did it again.

pretty soon we had all messed up about 3 or 4 times. it was already 2:00.

we took sips of water. we saw simon and luis talking but we couldnt hear them.

"man,im really hungry." chloe said.

"me too."i said.

"yeah,we need food. we havent eaten since 9:30. im starving!" jelisse said.

"simon,when can we eat lunch?" yelines said into the mic.

he glanced over at yelines. "half an hour." he said.

we all moaned and groaned.

"alright girls,from the top!" luis said.

we sang about 5 more times.

"alright girls,im civilized,come on out and eat something." simon said.

"YES!" we all yelld. we put our headphones down and ran out. simon gave us a sandwhiches. we all gobbled it down.

yum.

Chloe's POV:

good. i was finally done eating. i was really hungry. i hadnt eaten since 9:30 in the morning and it was 2:30. im done though. now i can focus on my music.

we got back into the sound booth.we recorded about 3 more times then we were done.

wow!time flies! its already 4:30. and we still have to write the song.

simon motioned for us to come out now. i grabbed a bottle of water on my way out. 

"we just finished recording.so now your going to go work on a new song....correct?" simon said to us.

"yes sir!" we said.

"good!now move out!"

we walked into a room that had bean bag chairs and a couch.

"wait here,i'll go get the co-writer."simon said leaving the room.

we got out our notebooks,and i got out my guitar.

all of a sudden we heard the door knob twist. we looked to the door and saw Ed Sheeran walking in.

"ed sheeran?" i said.

"hi girls.its good to be working with you." he said.

we wer kinda shocked. we didnt know ed sheeran would be working with us.

"can i get a picture with you really quick?" caro asked.

she took the picture. "im sending this to steph.she gonna be angry!" we laughed.

then we started working on the song.

it took a while to think of something. we got some lyrics down and some notes but we werent so sure about it.

"this song is kinda jazzy. what if we try to add a sax solo?" jelisse said. i smiled.i was the only one in the group who knew how to play the sax.

i walked over to a wall full of instruments and pulled down the sax. i started playing a jazzy tune that might fit in the song.

"that sounds really good."caro said.

"you think it would go with the lyrics?" briana looked at ed.

"lemme try something."he grabbed his guitar. "briana you know how to play the piano right?" she nodded and grabbed a piano.

ed wrote down some notes. "here."he gave briana a sheet of paper. "chloe, you play what you just played and caro you play those notes.imma gonna play a little something on me guitar." he said.

"1...2...3" he started. then they all played.

they finished playing. "that sounded amazing!" jelisse said. "yeah,how'd you think of that?" i asked. "i guess its a gift." he said.

"write it down before you forget!" briana said. this song was sounding pretty good.

we finished writing te ong,we jsut needed lyrics. were gonna work on that soon.

w epacked up the instruments.

"hey,my house is all the way across town,do you guys mind if i crash at your place tonight?i dont want to drive this late." he said.

"yeah!sure!"we said.

"thanks guys!"

we got in the limo and headed home.

when we got home ed walked in and was gretted by the lads.

"aye guys!i didnt know you moved." ed said. "yeah,we live with these lovely girls!"harry said.

"you guys know eachother?" chloe asked.

"yeah,hes a good friend!" harry replied.

it was time for bed. we were tired.

i tweeted:

i turned off my phone.

i got into my pajamas and cuddled into my bed.
