Ludwig finds Alfred annoying, childish and loud, but he would trust Alfred with his life.
The Axis trio and the Allies group were once again on a little adventure. America was prancing ahead, eager to find something new. Germany, England and Japan were hanging back while the others found a comfortable place in between. While they explored, the underbrush beside them rustled. They all stopped, including America. Suddenly all sorts of wolves charged them. The attack forced them all to scatter. Germany slammed one away and off to the side he saw Japan take one out as well. He could see a spark of light somewhere to his right, indicating England was using magic. He couldn't see any of the others. Which concerned him. Italy would get hurt somehow. He barely had enough time to think, when he was brutally slammed to the ground. There was a gunshot and a whimper. Then two thuds. The thuds were followed by silence. The other nations began to gather as Germany sat up. His thankfulness to see Italy unharmed quickly diminished when he saw the sight the other nations were gaping at. America lay curled on the ground. Blood from a horrific slash down his side poured out. A dead wolf lay not far away. "America? Are you ok?" England asked, kneeling down beside the young country. Carefully, America uncurled himself. Another slash down the side of America's face left half his face covered in red. "Why did you protect Germany, aru? No offense." America managed a weak smile. "Because he trusts me." Germany moved to help clean up America. "It's a very complicated friendship." He muttered.
