I don't really remember much after that. Everything was a blur of colors as I felt myself leaping across the room towards the sorry excuse of a human. I remember hearing screams from around the room as I felt arms desperately try to claw me off of the man. I also remember my body feeling hot and my hands wrapping around my father's neck. Eventually, I was ripped away from him and my small body couldn't absorb the force it took to pry me away from the man so I went hurdling into the opposite wall, right by the door. Now here I am, laying on the ground while my ears are still ringing from the blow I took to my head. My limbs weren't cooperating at the moment and my once hot body felt cold. The host club stared in hock, obviously having trouble processing what just happened. Honey stood by my father, frozen and pale with a look of guilt as he stared at me. He must have been the one to finally pull me off of the old man. I groaned before slowly lifting myself up from the floor to lean against the wall. My head was pounding but I nodded a bit at honey, trying to reassure him I was fine.
"I didn't come here for this!" My father attempted to growl with a hoarse voice. I felt the sadistic smirk make its way across my lips when I heard the sorry state his voice was in.
"Then why are you here? Get to the point already, dammnit!" Sora snarled angrily. I glanced up at the blonde with wide eyes. It wasn't easy to g him angry but once he was...he was the devil incarnate.
"After I sold the boy, I used the money to start my business and now that it's becoming successful, this assholes shows up at my doorstep, demanding to 'return' the kid to me. What the hell am I supposed to do with the boy?"
"You're his father, how about you attempt to give a shit about him!" I snapped at him. He sneered down at me with a face that had my blood boiling all over again.
"If I took him in, the press would ask questions I can't afford to answer. It could ruin my company! SO I remembered that my dearest daughter recently became the youngest CEO of a toy company and I thought it was the perfect time for a family reunion." I didn't even bother interrupting his ridiculous story. "I need you to take him off my hands." He finished, finally getting straight to the point. Everyone's eyes zeroed in on me s they expected me to jump up and attack the man once gain but instead,
I chose to look at the boy who apparently, was my little brother. His green eyes were dull and devoid of any emotion as he stared at the tile ground beneath him. He looked about six, meaning he was born four years after I was forced to leave America. He heard everything we were saying, but he didn't object once. Not caring that this man was referring to him as if he were stray dog to give away.
"Hey...kid." I started. The boy lifted his head a bit before turning to meet my gaze. My chest tightened a bit when his green orbs met my amber ones, his gaze eerily familiar to me. He said nothing, just stared at me, waiting for me to continue. "Do you want to live with me?" His eyes watched me as I kept my expression calm. I found myself wanting him to say yes. I found myself terrified that he would say no. A minute of tense silence passed before the boy gave me a barely noticeable nod. I smiled a bit before turning to my father with narrowed eyes. "I'll take him, but you'll leave us alone from now on. I never want to see your despicable face again."
"Obviously. Having to meet up with my kids isn't exactly one of my favorite pastimes." I scoffed at his audacity.
"I assume you'll be recanting your statement to the media then?"
"It was a simple misunderstanding. Our eyes were alike and I was consumed by grief since my first wife had a miscarriage and I thought the youngest CEO in japan looked just like she would have. An honest mistake." He smirked.
"Honest, my ass. Every other word from your mouth is a lie."
"I guess you really are my daughter, you understand me so well." With those parting words, he left. Hopefully, for good. It was silent, no one making a move until Sora's tense laughter broke the silence.
"Oh, geez." He sighed while staring at the door. "I don't think I've ever been as pissed as I am right now."
"Sora..." I trailed off hesitantly.
"No, Ami. He'll get what's coming. I promise." He declared with a determined expression. I bit my lip worriedly. I knew that he meant it. No one understood just how dangerous Sora could actually be.
"Where did my father go?" Tamaki questioned aloud. We all looked around the room, realizing the headmaster as nowhere to be found.
"He left a little while ago." Haruhi mentioned, ever the observant one.
"I'm still so confused..." Hikaru muttered, rubbing his forehead tiredly.
"Was he really your father?" Kaoru questioned quietly. I clenched my teeth.
"Yeah...he is, unfortunately." I admitted.
"He seemed like an asshole." Hikaru muttered honestly. My eyes widened at the curse word that sounded completely foreign coming from his lips.
"That he is." I agreed.
"Um, I hate to break this up-" Haruhi interrupted with a blank expression. "- but Ami just agreed to taking in a boy she doesn't know..."
"Well, apparently he's my brother." I muttered in thought.
"How do you know it's true though? For all you know your father could be lying." Hikaru pointed out. I shook my head at him.
"No, he definitely isn't lying. His hair...is like mine. "I whispered. I got my hair from years of back breaking training. They called it Marie Antoinette Syndrome. Something that only occurs when an individual is exposed to extreme stress...and this little boy had white hair too. He was sold to that man because I ran away from him so he went after my little brother. Whatever happened to him...it's my fault.
"Um...guys-"
"Are you going to adopt him?" Kyoya questioned.
"Huh? Is that necessary? He's my brother..."
"Guys-"
"Well, it would probably be best in case your father changes his mind later."
"But-"I cut myself off quickly. He was probably like me...when he was born there was no birth certificate meaning he doesn't exist. That man probably named him just like he named me. I couldn't adopt him if he didn't exist.
"I can help you with the paper-"
"GUYS!" Honey's voice shut us all up as we looked at him with wide eyes. The Lolita boy breathed heavily from yelling so loud. "The boy...he's gone."
"...EHHHH!!!"
