So! This is my first time writing anything in English! So in advance I'm so sorry for any grammar mistake, if you found any, please tell me and explain to me what I did wrong so it never happens again. I'm so excited to post this! Hope you like it!

O N E: God is mean and we deserve it.

"Five more minutes and we'll be free to go honey" Mom said sending me one of her perfect smiles. It was almost 4 o'clock and I was starving, it was a really bad idea to come to her office after my dance lessons on monday so we could eat together, but god knows that I can only see her just a few hours per day so it was a good idea when I thought of it.

"Sure, but I'll pick the place" I said as I'm trying to decide between pizza or sushi... tacos sounds good too and of course Chinese will be a perfect choice. "If I could only have it all..." I felt how I was drooling just thinking about all that food.

"I can see you brain working, all that smoke coming out of your head is telling me that you can't decide. What about that international buffet we found a few weeks ago?" I love this woman... and my stomach loves her too as it growled really hard. "I'll take that as an answer, let's go" she closed her laptop, took her purse and we leave her office. And that takes like forever since everybody loves her and stops by to say goodbye.

As we walked to the car mom told me about her day, how she was working extra hours because some idiot decided to quit without telling anyone and her boss decided that they will not be hiring anyone soon because their budget was really low this year. Mom works for an airline that have flights to almost everywhere in the world which is pretty good when she has vacations because we can travel for free. And since it is such a big company, the whole "low budget" excuse was nonsense to her.

"Mom I need to tell you something" I interrupted her speech about her boss. She looked at me while driving. "Road mom, look at the road. I'm not dying." And so she did. "Today I dropped my dance lessons. I'm not planning to go back ever. It's tiring, my feet are getting all weird and above all those reasons, it sucks to only eat junk food once per week so I don't gain weight. End of the report."

She remained silent for a few seconds and then bursted into laughter. "It's fine, I thought you were happy on those but just do whatever makes you happy." She parked the car in the restaurant and gave me a quick hug. "And I'm pretty sure that you eat junk food more than once per week Lyla."

"Let's get going mom, I don't know what you're talking about." Of course I eat junk food every day! I'm only fourteen and my cravings are junk, junk and junk.

We ate as if there was no tomorrow, that buffet was damn good. After that we went home so she could keep working at her studio and I went to my room to do... nothing. I was in my spring break and my best friend Maggie was with her family in Cancun and since she was my only friend (not that I needed more), I was completely alone for the rest of the week.

I turned on my computer and watched a korean drama about a girl who had to become a princess and her prince was such a jerk. Like every guy in the planet. I mean, even though my grandparents are still together, who can keep a long relationship this times? Exactly.

My dad left my mom when he found out that she was pregnant. They had a relationship almost for 2 years and after that day he disappeared. Nowhere to be found. Not that I blame him, mom is too awesome for anyone and he probably noticed that kind of... late. Mom is a firm believer that he was just an ass and even if I didn't trust in the word love in a non-familiar relationship, someday I will. What can I do? I'm only fourteen and my only experience with love is about this guy I have had a crush since I was 6.
