Carter's P.O.V

We finally arrive to the arena where they are supposed to preform, Alex and I are backstage with the idiots, josh is nowhere to be found (just kidding he went to do something, I can't remember what tho), they are on vocal rest, something like that, so they can't talk which is totally fine by me, they are texting to communicate, it's so stupid, that's one of the reasons I won't be a singer, I can't not talk, I have to talk, well I'm also a terrible singer but whatever, now this days people use auto tune so yeah, how did I even got to this? whatever back to us.

"Please give me a bottle of water !!" Niall texts me and I roll my eyes.

"You are vocal resting, you can walk" I say to him and he glares at me while getting up and taking bottle of water, I stick my tongue out at him making him chuckle.

"Where are the 5sos boys?" I ask and they shrug but then look at something behind me and smile, I turn around and meet up with them, they all say 'hi' to the boys but without talking, they are probably on vocal rest too, they look over at Alex and I and smile.

"Hey, I'm Carter" I say and each one fist pump with me, thank god they didn't gave me a hug.

"Alex"

They do the same with Alex and take their phones out, they give them to us, probably to type our phone number in, this is so ridiculous, we type our phone number there and we start texting.

"I'm Michael :)" The one with blue hair texts, I know he is the one that texted me because he looked at me after texting, so I guess it's him.

"I'll call you smurf" I say to him and he silently chuckles.

"I'm Luke :)" One of the blondes texts.

"Kay Blondie" I smile at him.

"Ashton :)" The other blonde one texts.

"I can't call you Blondie 'cause there is already one Blondie so..." I think for a little when I randomly yell.

"Spongebob!!" He furrows his eyebrows taken back a little and Alex and I burst into laughing.

"Yeah, spongebob it is" I say and wipe fake tears making them laugh but they shut up remembering they can't make a sound.

"Last but not least.. Calum :)" They have a thing for smiley faces.

"I'll call you bum cheeks" I say and he shakes his head while chuckling but then he gets glares from the boys reminding him to not talk or laugh and he sucks on his lower lip.

"There is too much silence" Alex says and I nod agreeing.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but please talk !!" I literally beg and they shake their head as 'no' while me groaning.

"Then I'll just talk to Alex" I say and turn to look at Alex who is texting on his phone. A second ago you were complaining no one is talking now you are texting?!! DUDE !!

"Yo Alex" I wave my hands trying to get his attention.

"Sorry but I'm texting this really hot girl" He says making me gag.

"Okay then... who is up for some texting?" I awkwardly say to the boys and they silently laugh at me.

"Okay boys, you are up at 5 minutes" Some women says and leaves, I look over at the 5sos boys and notice them become all nervous, I wouldn't blame them, I mean they are gonna preform in front of thousand of people in five minutes, I would be nervous as them, even more.
