It's almost half way through and I don't know how I'm not crying my eyes out. Wait, what's happening? Why is the show stopped? Tyler walked to the stage, "Hey frens! I hope you guys are having a great time jumping around and moshing to my ukulele." God, he is so adorable. "So the only reason I'm stopping the show is actually for a very good reason. Tonight in the crowd, we have a very important clique member in attendance. She-" All the guys in the crowd moan and complain. "Come on guys, this is very important to me and Josh." At this point, everyone had shut up and put all of their focus on Tyler. "Anyways, this girl completely stepped out of her comfort zone in order to show her passion for our band. I know many of you are like 'but Tyler, bean fren, I do that everyday' and yes I know but her story was something that is completely inspiring.". This is getting very very serious. Whoever this girl is, she's super lucky.
"Her name is Hallie." I went completely numb. This isn't happening. I look to my dad and see that he's smiling ear to ear. "Hallie if you could make your way to the stage, and if you can't we'll have the guards help you." He looked right in my direction. No one moved. I finally could feel my legs and slowly began to walk towards the stage. Then, it hit me. Tears began pouring down my face, I'm meeting the two people who saved my life. I stood at the back of the mosh pit, I was only one hundred feet away from my goals in life. "Guys, please make a path for her.". Right after those words came out of is mouth, the crowd of people parted like the Red Sea. I walked towards the stage.
I stepped up the few steps that would lead me to pure happiness. With one last step, I was on the stage I front of hundreds of people who would kill for the position I was in. I walked to Tyler as my makeup ran down my face. When I reached him, he embraced me in a tight hug and as soon as he let go, Josh was standing by him waiting to give me a hug. After I hugged both of them, Tyler asked, "Do you know why you're up here?" He handed me the microphone and I tried to steady my voice. I spoke with a raspy voice, "I could guess, but honestly I have no idea." The crowd lit up with laughter. Wow, maybe I could be a comedian. Tyler spoke with an adorable smile on his face, "Then let us show you.". He made a gesture to someone on the side of the stage and it popped up. I gasped. They knew about me reciting Car Radio? How...? My language arts teacher was the only one who had access to this video. Oh my God. She knew I loved Twenty One pilots. The video played to the hundreds in the crowd and water works went to work. My whole face was wet with tears. Tyler embraced me in a hug and it was as if all of my problems had vanished.
