Most people think that the beach is soft, warm sand. The perfect chance to get the perfect tan, with clear water that is just the right temperature. To you it was hot sand that burnt your feet and ended up in places it shouldn't be, severe sunburns, and freezing cold water. You were the total opposite of your older brother, Kidou Yuuto, who was on the Inazuma Eleven soccer team. While he preferred to run around chasing a black and white ball for reasons you couldn't figure out you'd rather curl up in a comfy chair by a fire with a blanket and a good book.
"You just going to sit there being miserable the entire time (y/n)?" A body made itself right at home next to you under the little shade the umbrella provided. You ignored him and pulled out a book that you had started yesterday evening, already about halfway done with it, and placed the light blue and grey book mark on the blanket close by.
"You dragged me here in the first place niichan" Your eyes glanced over each line on every page you turned with ease. Kidou sighed and tried handing you a cold water bottle to get you to stop being such a grouch but to no avail, in fact it actually irritated you further.
"You should join us. Play some soccer with the team, we could use another person. Or go swimming, since you know this is a beach." Kidou put the bottle down when you didn't take it, instead opting to turn away from him and concentrate on reading. You let out a breath you had been holding for awhile and glance at the boys from the corner of your eye. They were all sweaty, covered in sand and still running around.
"This is so boring" You huffed, laying down and placing the book on your face before falling asleep. The next time you were conscious it included a bucket of freezing cold water and a nasty sunburn. Your scream was enough to grab the boys attention from whatever they were doing and come over to your soaked figure.
"(Y/n) are you alright? What happened to you, you're all red" The team bombarded you with questions, resulting in a highly unnecessary headache. Kogure was standing off to the side snickering behind his hand and you almost saw red. Growling as you stood you stomped your way over to the twerp and he instantly ran off to go hide from your wrath.
"That's one nasty sunburn. You should come into the ocean to cool it off" The one person who hadn't rushed over to you like the rest shouted from his spot on his surf board. His bright pink hair plastered to his head as he got out of the water, stabbed the end of his surf board into the hot sand and made his way over to the group. A blush crept it's way onto your cheeks when you noticed how water droplets trailed down his beautifully tanned skin, running over abs that were the obvious result of surfing and soccer.
"U-uh no thanks. I don't really like water" You gulped when he got closer to your face, doing you best not to freak out like some school girl in a romance manga. He was so close, your faces just inches apart and you nearly fainted when his large hand meet your forehead.
"That's too bad. You do look kinda sick though, here let me take you back to the lodge?" He moved away and offered his hand to your dazed form. You reluctantly agreed but not with out the protesting from your older brother and Haruka telling him to shut up. You loved your older sister dearly, she being the only one who knew about you crush on the pinkette.
A sigh of relief left your lips when the a cool wave washed over your over heated body walking into the lodge. Tsunami disappeared upstairs while you laid on the floor, the cool wood taking an edge off the pain on your back.
