~Nobody's POV~
"Why does it have to be so hot!" Some one groaned. Others nodded in agreement, their faces a bit more red than they should be.
"I'm used to the freezing cold. Not heat waves like this" the grey haired defender lied on the hardwood floor in the living room of (F/N) (L/N). After a grueling practice you and the other managers decided to do something for the team since they've been working so hard.
"I'm sorry minna. I didn't expect my AC to break like that" you have an apologetic smile.
Endou stood up and waved it off, "it's ok (f/n)-chan. It's not your fault" you giggled as the others complained some more about the heat. You see you had been part of the volleyball club a year before but because of a certain accident you took interest in soccer, becoming a manager for the team.
One of the boys got up from his spot on the couch and walked over to the AC, the boy being Kidou Yuuto, "(F/n) I'm gonna try to fix the AC, just giving you a heads up"
You nodded and watched as he managed to get the AC out of the window, with a bit of help of course. Fudou decided that he wanted to help Kidou which ended up leading to a heated argument.
"No that doesn't go there Fudou!"
"Yes it does Goggles! Shut up!"
"You obviously don't know what you're doing!"
"I do too!"
"Do not!"
"Do!"
"Do not!"
"Do!"
"Ok ok thats enough!" you shouted over the bickering pair, "what are you guys, five?" a few of the others were getting a kick out of watching the little scene the three of you where putting on.
"Sorry" both muttered and turned away from each other.
You smiled in satisfaction just as Haruna barreled in through the back door in the kitchen, "Minna! Listen up!" she panted. All the managers saw the bag she was holding and grinned, It was time.
"What's up Haruna?" Kazemaru looked up from his game of cards with Gouenji.
"Well since you all have been working so hard the past few weeks we, the managers, have decided to give you all a treat." Fuyuka explained. A look of excitement flashed over everyones face as Haruna slowly opened the bag. In it rest enough water guns for the entire team.
"They're already full. Choose one and try not to get hit with water." The three of you giggled as they all grabbed one and raced out side. Shooting at each other and trying not to get hit at the same time.
You noticed one was still in the box and looked over to the AC, finding Kidou still hunched over it, "Huh? Kidou-kun are you not going to join in?"
"No. It's ok, i'm all set and i kinda want to get this fixed for later." he didn't look up. You nodded and walked over to him. Sitting on the opposite side of Kidou.
"They look like they're having a blast." you murmured as you watched out the window. Tsunami was running after Tachimuki who was despreatly avoiding the pink haired defenders attacks. Gouenji and Fubuki seemed to have teamed up and where going against Midorikawa and Hiroto. Kazemaru and Endou where going at it, while Fudou snuck up to both of them and shot them with water when both weren't looking.
"Why don't you join them then?" he stared at you. You met his gaze and his felt his face heat up, with all truth and honesty Kidou has had a huge crush on you since he first met you. Little did he know that you felt the same way and returned his feelings.
You sighed and rested your head on your hand, "It wouldnt be any fun with out everybody"
"What do you mean by that?" he gave you a curious look that made your stomach do flips.
"W-well, I mean...everything is better when doing it with friends" you scratched the back of your head. He hummed in approval and screwed the top back on before putting the AC back in the window. You released a sigh of relief as you plugged it in and turned it on.
"It works! It actually works again! I can't thank you enough Kidou-kun!" you shouted in joy, wrapping your arms around his torso in the process. He blushed and hugged you back, his heart slamming against his chest. He stares at you and looses himself in his thoughts for a minute.
'She's so cute when she's excited. Wait no don't think like that! Oh whatever, its not like she'll return my feelings anyway.'
He sighed as you snapped your fingers in front of his face, "Kidou-kun! Oi! You in there?"
He looked startled and chuckled nervously, shifting so you arms were around his neck while his were around your waist, "Gomen (F/n)-chan"
"It's ok, Kidou-kun" you didn't notice your faces were slowly getting closer and closer but just before your lips met he pulled away. You felt a stab of disappointment and pain in your heart but you swallowed it down and hid it.
"Kidou-kun whats wrong" you tilted you head to the side. He didn't look at you, murmuring so softly that you almost didn't catch what he said.
"I love you, (F/n)-chan"
Eh! Kidou loves you! You let out a sigh of relief, Kidou returns your feelings!, "Kidou I...."
He cut you off, " if you don't feel the same way I understand....." he started rambling to which you put your finger on his lips to shush him.
"You didn't let me finish. I love you too Kidou-kun. I have since the first day I met you" Kidou smiled and hugged you tightly.
"Then will you be my girlfriend?" he speaks softly into your ear.
"Of course i will" you pull away from him and giggled.
Someone screamed from the back yard, "Just kiss already damn it!" you both laughed and he gently captured your lips in a his. You wrapped your arms around his neck and stayed like that for a while before your lungs called for air.
"I love you (F/n)" Kidou takes you hand in his.
You grip it a bit tighter and smile, "I love you too my little strategist." he smirked and led you out side to the porch. Others whistled at you both while others yelled congratulations. You went to grab a water gun but Kidou grabbed you and pulled you in for another kiss, only this time a bit more passionate and you somehow managed to take off his goggles. Once you pulled away you smirked and pulled a water gun from begind your back squeezing the trigger in Kidou's face before you ran lile you life depended on it.
~Extended Ending~
You all sat out side in the warm sun to dry off after cleaning up the mess outside in the back yard.
"Best day ever" Endou grins, everyone nods and soaks in the sun.
"Totally" you and Kidou smiled and kissed each other on the lips, enjoying each others embrace.
