A/N: So I got some positive feedback on the prologue, and I thought that I should probably update this story again! Again, I really love this idea, and I can't wait to share the rest of it with you all! Also, I've made a Twitter recently where I'll be posting updates about my stories. My account is KrissyJeanne24 if you're interested in following. Hope you enjoy this chapter!

The salty ocean breeze blows through Camila's long, brown hair, which causes Lauren to gawk at her girlfriend's beauty. This has already happened several times since the ship's departure a few hours prior, but Lauren can't help but to admire the younger girl's perfection. The pair decide to head for the all-you-can-eat buffet, which was going to be held every day at every hour for any guests that need to get some food in their stomachs. Lauren scans over her options carefully as her girlfriend already starts to pile random items onto her plate. Camila grabs pizza, french fries, chicken, and a handful of shrimp. This is the girl that I'm going to marry, Lauren thinks to herself. Most of our earned money will go towards whatever goes in this girl's stomach. But there's no problem with that. I love her too much. She just laughs to herself at the thought.

Camila hears her girlfriend's low-toned laugh, then turns to face her as she shoves a few french fries into her mouth. "What's so funny?"

Lauren continues to laugh. "You," she answers.

"Me? What about me?"

"Your crazy obsession with food is literally the most adorable thing in the world," the older girl admits.

Camila just smiles and jams more food onto her plate. As she repeatedly does this, she catches the attention of a few passengers who think that she's about to take everything off of the table. In particular, she catches the attention of a blonde boy who decides to make his way over to her. Both of the girls think that he was about to yell at her for taking so much food, but they are shocked by what he actually says.

"Finally! A girl with an appetite!" the boy exclaims in an Irish accent. He holds out his hand for her to shake. "Hi, I'm Niall," he says.

Lauren begins to feel slightly jealous. The boy isn't ugly, which only makes her feel more upset. This wouldn't bother Lauren as much if her girlfriend wasn't bisexual, but she was. In attempt to shoo the boy away, she takes his hand to greet him instead. "Hi, I'm Lauren. And this is my girlfriend, Camila."

"Hi?" Niall says in a questionable tone as he shakes Lauren's hand. He releases his hand from her grip, then continues to speak despite Lauren's efforts to make him leave. "Anyways... I just wanted to greet some of the passengers on the ship."

The older girl furrows her brow in confusion. "Why would you do that? We're only here for a week, so getting to know people on the ship is a little redundant. Isn't it? Plus, didn't you bring your significant other on here with you or something? Or a friend? Family?"

The Irish boy shakes his head with a smile. "No, no, no," he says. "My parents own the Carnival cruise ships, so I'm just trying to get to know some of our customers. I really do apologize if I came off as some guy who's trying to get your girl. But my parents said that I'll run the company one day, and that it would be a good idea to make a good name for myself. This is my first time riding one of the cruise liners, though. And I can tell that I've already made a bad impression. Is there any way that you can forgive me?"

Lauren frowns and begins to feel guilty in an instant, wishing that she didn't jump to conclusions. She admits, "I'm really sorry about that. I guess sometimes I can get a little possessive over my girlfriend, and it usually clouds my judgement of the other person. Will you forgive me?"

Niall shakes his head again, which causes Lauren's heart to drop. "Nope, I'm throwing you in the brig for being a big loser."

The older Cuban's jaw drops, not sure if she had actually started a feud between herself and the blonde or not. This look causes him and Camila to burst out into laughter. Lauren realizes that the whole thing was just a joke to get her to feel bad. Her frown transforms into a smile, and she finally begins to laugh. Whenever her girlfriend laughed, she always seemed to make a sad room happy.
