We had twenty minutes until the bell would ring for first class.

"Hi I'm Grace, I expect you're really nervous right now, cos I guess I would be too but don't worry I'll take care of you" she giggled.

"Yeah, thanks" I replied whilst letting out a little laugh.

Grace had long dark brown straight hair halfway down her back. Hazel eyes and was rather slim. Why she was sitting on her own I had no idea. As she was a very pretty girl from what i could see. Grace asked me some questions about myself and I explained the whole 'moving-house and mums job situation' to her. She seemed so friendly and I could definitely see us becoming friends. The majority of the class had their eyes fixated on me the whole time, I guess I'd get to know the rest of my classmates throughout the next week or two.

Before I knew it, the bell rang and we had been exchanging information about one another for a good twenty minutes. Grace took my hand and led me past the exiting pupils and linked her arm with mine and took me down the corridor to our first class. All day we spoke and laughed about stupid little things. We seemed to click right away. I didn't expect anyone to be this nice to me. She introduced me to a few of her friends, Becky and Ellie, who we sat with at lunch. At the end of the day we exchanged phone numbers and she promised to text me as soon as she got home.

"How was your day darling?" My mum asked as I hopped into the car.

"It was great, everybody was so nice to me and I've made a good friend called Grace who showed me around.. I can tell I'm going to enjoy it here mum"

"That's brilliant, you should ring your dad up when you get home to tell him all about it, I'm sure he will be excited to hear from you" she said.

As soon as I got through the front door I ran up to my room, burst open the door and flopped down on my bed. I was exhausted and it was only the first day. My phone lit up, it was a text from Grace.

'Hi It's Grace, I told my mum about you and I can't wait to see you tomorrow I have so many questions I want to ask you. My mum said you can come round after school and have dinner. You can get the car with us xx'

I rushed downstairs and asked my mum if I could go. Of course she said yes. Now I was 16 she didn't mind as much as to what I did. Me and Grace texted for hours until 11pm when I decided I should maybe get some sleep as it was only Tuesday tomorrow which meant I still had school to attend.

The next morning I got up, had a shower and put on my uniform. I loved my new uniform as it really looked good on my petite frame. I decided to go heavier with my makeup today as it made my bright blue eyes stand out. I curled my mousey-brown hair at the ends and pulled the top section back and secured it with a black ribbon. I was feeling much more confident today as I had made a few friends the day before and had something to look forward to.

School seemed to fly by and before I knew it, it was already last lesson. "I should probably let you know that I have 3 brother so you're not freaked out when you realise haha" Grace told me. All I was hoping was that they would be hot and older than I was but not too much older. Grace was my first real friend I had from Melbourne as I hadn't been here for long.

At the end of class we waited by the gates for a good five minutes when we saw Grace's mum wave out of her car doors window, a cute little mini. Grace waved back and we both ran over and jumped in. Although there was a seat at the front Grace decided to sit next to me in the back to keep me company.

"Hey you must be Maddie" said her mum.

"Hey, yeah I'm Maddie, thank you so much for inviting me round for dinner today" I smiled. Her mum smiling at me in the mirror.

"You're welcome, Grace has told me quite a bit about you and from what she tells me you seem lovely. And you're welcome anytime sweetie" her mum explained.

"Aw thanks Miss...Brooks" I said nervously not knowing what to call her.

"No need to call me that, Call me Gina!" She said smiling.

"Okay"

We soon pulled up outside the house. It was a decent size and flowers were hung in hanging baskets either side of the front door. Her mum turned the key in the lock and the door swung open.

Suddenly I heard a loud cheer coming from up the stairs. "GOOOOAAAALLL".

"oh, don't worry about that Maddie, that's just my brothers I was telling you about they're probably on the Xbox playing FIFA..they tend to get a bit to emotionally involved in it if you ask me, stupid boys. You'll get used to it soon" she explained.

I was sort of nervous about meeting her brothers and it seemed as though her mum was a single parent.

"You two girls go upstairs to the bedroom and I'll call you down to the table when dinner is done" we both nodded our heads and raced up the stairs. I was rather cautious about making too much noise and being polite as I wanted to make a good impression on her mum and her brothers. Grace's room was at the opposite end of the room where all the noise was coming from. Fairy lights lit up her purple painted walls and glistened around her headboard. Her room was very pretty and girly whereas mine was more monochrome and simplistic, just the way I liked it. It was gorgeous nonetheless.

"wow your rooms lovely"

"Thanks, I bet yours is too" Grace replied.

"Hmm, it's okay, I guess".

We sat down on her bed and she flipped up the screen on her laptop. We spent ages making funny faces on the distort setting on her webcam. I was in fits of laughter. I was in the middle of taking a selfie on my iPhone with Grace when her mum shouted up. "GRACE, MADDIE, BEAU, LUKE..JAI DINNERS READY".

They must be the names of her brothers I thought to myself and I heard what seemed to be a stampede going down the stairs.

Grace and I walked calmly down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. I turned to face the table and before my eyes were the three most gorgeous looking boys I had ever laid my eyes on. Had i just entered heaven I thought to myself. How I was going to cope sitting on the same table as them, I did not know.
