I made my way to history class, and greeted Mr.Gerald, my history teacher, as I walked in. He was a bald man in his mid thirties.
"Morning Miss Sinclair!" Mr.Gerald replied and I took my seat.
History class went by pretty fast because Mr.Gerald was a really good teacher and I also loved history.
The period ended and I collected my things and headed towards the cafeteria. Searching for a familiar face, I found Clarrise waving at me to join her and her boyfriend, Tyler.
I waved back and took a seat beside Tyler.
"Kylene." Tyler greeted barely glancing at me, keeping up his bad boy facade, or tried to.
"Be nice." Clarrise punched him in the arm. It's sad that they aren't fighting today, cause it's generally his face.
"Hey guys! Let's go get lunch, I'm starving!!" I tell them, we make our way over to the lunch line and pay for our food.
Since the time we got back to the table, Tyler kept trying to snatch a few of Clarrise's fries. "Stop it!" Clarrise flicked his hand away.
"Oh come on, just one fry! That's all I ask for." Tyler whined, "You know you love me!"
Clarrise scoffed," Love to punch you? Definitely!"

The rest of the day went by uneventful, and here comes detention! Yay.
"Wait up," Clarrise yelled, as she ran to catch up, and we walked together to the detention room.
Miss Celine glared at us when we walked in,"You know the rules, no talking, no using gadgets and no misbehaving!"
"Then why are you saying it.." mumbled Clarrise, rolling her eyes as we took our seats, "She's always glaring at us! I've never seen the woman smile!"
"I know! I hate her so much," I replied, while taking out my homework for the day.
"I said no talking! How many times do you want me to repeat?" scolded Miss Celine and, of course, glared.
I spent the next one hour completing my homework and swapping chits with Clarrise, who kept cursing the teacher.
"You sure you don't want a ride home?" Clarrise asked, when we left the building.
I don't own a car since my Aunt was was all about saving the environment. I didn't mind because it's just a twenty minute walk home.
"Yes I'm sure! You go spend time with lover boy," I ushered her into her Mustang.
"Okay then, see you tomorrow," Clarrise said driving away. Waving at her, I turned around and left the parking lot.
I walked the familiar streets of Chicago, the cool autumn air nipping my skin. It was getting pretty dark.
Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice wail in pain, "I don't know, leave me alone!" I sprinted towards the dark alley, trying to calm my frantic nerves.
The sight I saw left me frozen.
