The annoying sound of my alarm wakes me up. I try to get my phone and turn it off. But somehow I manage to let if fall. It makes the sound of something I really don't wanna hear again. The sound of a breaking phone. (Da da da damm)

My mom comes in and turns my alarm off. "Thank you", I say, trying to sleep. "Up, up, up. It's going to be a big, big, big day", she sings.

I should never have told her that "Hunger Games" quote. And besides I don't know why this day is going to be big. I force myself to stand up. I slowly walk to my closet and try to find something to wear. Something that doesn't look like someone pulled it out of a trash can. After 10 minutes I have my outfit. A black T-Shirt and white jeans.

Why did the hell did that take me so long? I pack my back and walk out to my mom, who is, by the way, still wearing her pj. Wait. That is my pj.

"You want some breakfast?", she asks placing a plate in front of me. "Yes, that would be nice", I say, still tired. I hope my phone didn't break. Mom gives my a plate with some egg and toast and I eat it as fast as I can. Katie will wait for me at the bus stop. And if I'm not there when the bus comes she has to take it without me and I have to wait 20 minutes. So I hurry up and rush to the bathroom. I brush my teeth and my hair. Then I run back to my room and grab my bag and my , thank god, not broken phone.

"Are you already leaving?" "Yes mom. I have to go. School and stuff", I say giving her a kiss on the cheek. She wishes me good luck and I run out of our small apartment. I run down the streets to the bus stop. I am totally out of breath when I reach Katie. I don't even recognize the other person standing next to her.

"Hi", someone says. I turn around. Seeing my best friend I front of me. "Luke", I shout. "You're back" Luke has been my best friend since kindergarten. He has always been there for me. Also when times were bad because my mom went through a breakup. "Naomi", he hugs me tighter. "I missed you", I whisper. Luke was in Germany for half a year and I missed him very much. I finally let go of him. "Why didn't you tell me?", I ask.

"I thought it would be a nice surprise", Katie says. God I totally forgot she was here too. "It was", I smile. Luke is still holding my hand. Katie notices and tries not to laugh. Luke lets go. I don't think it's funny. Can't boys and girls just be friends?

Luke is like hot guy in our school. Blond hair. Blue eyes. A six pack. Every girl has a crush on him. Except for me. I had to fall in love with some guy who doesn't even know my name and has a new girlfriend every week.

But Luke and I have always been best friends. Not more. That would be so weird. Like literally so weird. Like extremely, really, super weird.

The bus comes. I take Luke's hand and drag him into it. "Let's see if you still remember where our school is", I tease. Katie laughs. I let Luke and Katie sit down on the only two free places. "You don't wanna sit?", he asks. "Because I can stand if you want to"

"No, no it's fine", I say waving my hand at him. "Well then, princess", Luke says. "Stop calling me that. I'm not a princess", I softly punch his arm. "You are for me", Luke says smiling sarcastically. "Hello? Who are you and what have you done to Luke?", I smile. "Awwww so cute", Katie teases. "Shut up Kay", I say. "I'm sorry", she says not even a little bit sorry. "No you're not", I say with a grin. The bus stops and we all walk out.

On our five minute walk we hear people calling "Hey Luke" or "Luke you're back" or "Isn't that Luke Wilson?"

The whole day goes on like this. Everyone is so excited and they all want to hear about what it's like in Berlin. And although Luke is begging me to stay and keep his 12 year old fans away I leave him and go talk to Alex. Katie is somewhere, probably talking about Batman with anyone who wants to listen.

"Hey Alex. What's up?", I ask as I sit down next to her on a bench. "Not much", she seems sad. "Are you okay? You seem, a little distracted", I say. "Yeah I'm fine", she waves her hand at me. "No really tell me" She turns her head. "You already know" I put an arm around her. "You know what?" She shakes her head. "I promised I would always be there for you. And you promised me the same. And now we have to be strong. Not only for us but for Katie. She is moving to a totally different city, she doesn't even know anybody there", I take a short break. "And I'm gonna be there for you if you need me... Okay?"

"Okay", she snobs. "Okay let's go to class" We stand up. I whip away a tear from her cheek. She gives me a sad smile and we walk into the class. Fany is already sitting. "Hey what's up?" "It's only been 20 minutes don't act like you haven't seen me in a year", I say and sit down next to her.

"I was just asking-" "I know I'm just kidding. Everything is fine" I don't want to tell her about Katie. Not only because Katie told us not to tell anyone but also because I don't want to talk about it.

"I saw you and Alex. What was that about?" Fuck she noticed, I think to myself. "Nothing", I lie. "Nothing it was just... You know what? Don't think about it. She's fine" Fany looks at me like she doesn't believe me. She is about to say something but our history teacher Miss Fackman (I personally thing that's a really unlucky name) walks in. The lesson goes on and Fany and I draw all over our papers like we always do in boring classes.

It's time to get back home and we all stand in front of the school. Alex hugs me and whispers: "Thanks for the talk" before she turns around and walks home without saying goodbye to Luke or Katie. I turn around to see that she whips tears away with her hand. I decide to text her later.

We walk home and Luke tells us everything about Germany. "Berlin was great. It was so awesome. And the people there were really nice to me", Luke tells us. I listen to him and nod sometimes. "Were there any hot guys?", I ask just to say something. "Well, if you like spending the afternoon with Dudley Dursley, then yes"

"Luke it's not nice to say that about other people", I say laughing. "But you laughed" "Yes I laughed but still" "You guys I have to go. See you tomorrow", Katie hugs me and Luke and then she takes a turn left and is gone. Luke and I walk two minutes in silence until I finally say something.

"So you called me princess huh?" Luke blushes a little bit. "Well yeah... That was just... You know" I raise my eyebrows. "I know what?" He doesn't say anything. "I am sorry if it made you uncomfortable", he begins. "Uncomfortable? That you called the princes? Not at all" "You just looked really pretty today" We are now at my door. "You know, you should call me pretty more often", I say.

"I will, don't worry" He hugs me and gives me a small kiss on the cheek. He never did that before. That was weird. He walks away smiling and waving. I wave back and open the door.
