Author George RR Martin has taken out an insurance policy, it's not insurance technically, but seeing as he still has two books left to write with no definite release date for either, it seems fitting. In fact he sat down with Game of Thrones producers, David Benioff and D.B Weiss and told them the ending of the books, in case he dies before he has a chance of finishing them.
