Draco's POV

I had stayed up too late last night .. The welcoming bright Christmas decor in the grand hall seemed very unpleasant to tired eyes. My mother wanted me to stay at Hogwarts this Christmas for reasons unknown to me. I sighed. Why does SHE have to be here? Sitting st her usual place at the Slytherin table was a nasty, annoying parasite known as Pantsy Parkinson . I groaned as she squealed with delight and waved me over to her spot. I assumed she thought I was staring at her, because she started blushing furiously, but I was really staring at a beautiful girl who walked in the other side..

I walked into the Grand Hall, I smelled the delicious food all the way from the staircases. I was a little late because I was still getting used to the constantly changing staircases and I stopped to talk to a portrait and to compliment her hair. I wasn't aware that portraits talk for long periods of time.. I heard a very annoying high pitched voice and I saw a blonde girl sitting to close to a white-silver blonde boy. I thought the boy was pretty cute and the girl seemed to think the same thing. I was very busy staring at him when I ran into a house elf carrying food. He looked like he needed some christmas cheer I thought . So I took off my Green and silver striped scarf- the signature colors of Slytherin - and wrapped it around the house elf . "Happy Christmas" I said. The elves face lit up and he squealed "Thank you thank you thank you so much Missy!!" The elf smiled and dropped the food that was left "I is a free elf!!" He ran away. I looked around and saw the sliver haired boy looking at me . I realized we were in the same house and that's where I might as well sit. He waved me over. My heart raced 300 miles an hour as I walked over, twirling my copper hair around my finger .
Draco's POV

She was so beautiful I could hardly stand it. Her copper colored curls fell just past her knees and her gray eyes matched mine. Her sweet smile told me that she did not judge by looks and she obviously didn't know what other people thought about me. Her robes were fairly new and her shoes were designer. She had to be the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. When she finally got to our table I heard her sweet voice. It sounded like the morning dew and wind chimes. "Hello." She said "I-" I said trying to make sense of all the things running through my mind . "Im Melody" she said, running her hand through her EXTREMLY long hair . "Im Draco Malfoy" I said. Her eyes lit up. "Malfoy?! My father works with your father at the ministry!" I smiled a sad smile "You know my dad?" I said. She sat down in between me and Pantsy and low-key shoved her with her foot . Savage . I thought to myself . "Mr. Malfoy paid for my next few years here!" She said very excited "Well then " I said "Shall I give you a tour of the school?" I threw in a very charming smile and help out my forearm for her. "We shall" she said with a huge smile

His arm was very cold, but I didn't mind one bit. I'd never felt like this before . What is this feeling? Is it...Love perhaps ? I was thinking about it constantly while Draco showed me around the school. He finally took me to his favorite spot by the lake . Even thought it was cold and frigid outside, being with him warned me up. I was so happy in his arms and I never wanted to leave. Hogwarts night not be so bad after all I said to myself silently as we leaned in fir our first kiss .
