Melody and Draco had been through alot together. I mean alot. They grew up together basically during their time at Hogwarts, and now that they finished their years there, it was time to start their real life.
Draco's POV
The question I wanted to ask her.. this had been going through my mind since Melody agreed to move in with me.

Of course I needed to ask her father's permission.

How could I possibly ask her the question without looking like a fool. What if she says no..?

"Draco!" Yelled Melody. And her tone told Draco she must have been talking to him for a while now.
The question.
"Yes my love?" I said in the cheesiest tone ever as I swept her into my arms and carried her around the kitchen.
She smirked and laughed. "You know we have to go to dinner in Hogsmede tonight?" She said "My parents wanted to meet the Famous Bouncing Ferret."
I rolled my eyes at that comment, but playfully so she knew I was joking. "Oh yes. I remember love." As I set her down, I realized what this meant.
The question.
I could discreetly get permission tonight.
"Im going to go get ready, Draco, I'll be very quick.
"Take all the time in the world love"
"We're supposed to meet them in 16 minutes Draco"
"Oh.. oops"
Melody walked up the mahogany staircase to get ready. Draco ran to the dining room and looked in the China cabinet. The ring was still there. The phone rang.
" 'lo"
"Have you done it yet??"
"No mother I haven't."
"What are you going to say?!"
"Umm I don't know mum"
"Pretend I'm melody what would you say"
"Mum that's wierd"
Sigh.
"Just do it"
"Okay well I just wanted to say that you are the most amazing woman in the entire world and..?"
"Ugh yuck"
"Fine! You are the only woman that I would want to spend the rest of my life with and I would never treat you wrong or anything and I love you...?"
"No no no"
"Melody, it would make me the absolute happiest man in the world if only you would say you would marry me. I love you more that absolutely anything in the world, and you are the only woman in my life. Melody I love you and it would be a grand honor if you'd be Mrs. Malfoy"
"Yes"
Draco dropped the phone and looked on the other side of the room. There was Melody.
"And I love you too Draco"
