Grey made his way out of the auditorium the way he came in. The blood still rushed down him.
Tu floated behind him casually. "How exactly do you expect to get help from anyone in our current position? Especially since the living don't see dead people."
Grey stopped in his tracks. He hadn't thought it through. He took a moment to think about the situation.
Tu spoke up again. "Oh! I've got an idea!"
"What?" Grey asked.
"The fire alarm." Tu said.
"That wouldn't be a bad idea if the building wasn't twenty years abandoned. Our chances of the fire department actually showing up are ten in one hundred, but the ten percent is always possible I suppose." Grey said.
The two of them made their way back inside the old, broken down building. Grey looked for a fire alarm to set off. He scanned the ceiling for the dull metal sprinklers.
When they finally found one, Grey lit up a fire using rubbish and a couple stones.
"This place is old." Grey said. "Soon, it should be lit up."
Tu walked over and picked up Grey's mortal body by putting the body over his shoulders.
"Tu, stop. What are you doing?" Grey asked sternly.
"Won't mom be devastated? The least we could do is make it look like an accident. It won't be easy, but it's better than leaving the gun there." Tu said.
Grey closed his eyes and tried to relax as he thought of her.
He and his single mother had been living on campus parkway for years. A small, one room apartment that felt alot like home to Grey. His mother was gentle and sweet. In fact, Grey hardly knew a time when she raised her voice. She seemed to have a crazy outlook on life. One that Grey had always found interesting. Though Grey had never known him, his mother constantly told him how much he resembled his father.
They didn't have much in the ways of fancy clothes or money, but eachother was all they really needed. When times got rough financially, Grey tried to get a job. His mother was on disability, but that wasn't enough for the both of them. Eventually, Grey decided it would be better for both him and his mother that he should be taken from the picture.
Tu rested a hand on Grey's shoulder. Grey and Tu were nothing less than the same person. They shared nearly everything. This included thoughts.
"Mom will be ok. We can go see her later." Tu said in attempt to comfort Grey.
Grey began to cry. "We can't undo what we've done, but I wish we could. Mom wanted better for us."
Tu rested his eyes and knelt beside Grey.
"All we had was eachother.. and now I have taken that from her too." Grey
