The floors creeked beneath his feet as he stepped onto the stage, fingers curled in and palms sweaty. A fountain of emotion whirrled through him. He took long, stiff strides as if a sense of confidence existed in him despite his intentions. He reached center stage and stood still and straight, only looking forward.
The abandoned auditorium had been a host of many occurrences; such as drug overdoses and raves. It had remained unoccupied for some time now, or atleast it was seeming to be. The ceiling beams lay spattered about and broken and anything otherwise left over was shattered and covered in debris. It was a nice place, or was at one point, until it lost its funding.Grey observed his surrounding, finding no sign of another prescense.
He had come here a number of times. To read, toss some rocks, or even just to think.
A voice spoke. "Do it or your mother suffers your consequences."
He squeezed his eyes shut. He dare not look upon the object in front of him. Still, he looked down. A table stood in front of him. On it, rested a pistol. The voice repeated. "Do it or your mother suffers your consequences."
Grey picked up the pistol an put it to his head, letting dark hair fall in his face. Fear fell on him like an avalanche and his blue eyes twinkled with tears. He breathed quickly and heavily, putting off his task for as long as he could. All was silent. He listened as his ear rang quietly. Someone, no something. It whispered in his ear aggressively. "Do it."
Grey flinched. He took a single moment to think, but he couldn't control himself. "I'm only a burden to her." He whispered. His finger slammed down on the trigger. With a loud bang, he fell to the floor. His eyes drifted open, revealing two new eyes. One a deep purple and the other, a captivating turquoise. He whiped tears from his now pale skin to find his blood spread acrossed his face and his head bleeding excessively. He stood and examined his apparel. All white excluding the blood dripping down his body and onto the broken stage floor. He touched his head as a severe ache came over it. He then looked at his hand to find it turning a deep shade of crimson.
"After all this... I can't imagine how I still have the nerve to live." He said to himself, clutching his hand.
"Worry not, troubled child." A voice spoke into his ear.
Grey looked over his shoulder and turned to find a boy that resembled him greatly. The only difference being their clothing. Grey studied the boy and found him to be his height with the same pale skin color and dark hair only this man was wearing black.
"Who are you?" Grey asked.
The boy smirked and walked over to Grey. "Wow, 17 years knowing eachother and you still can't recognize me?"
Grey looked at him, confused.
The boy spoke again as his eyes lit up red. "Come on. I'm you, handsome."
Grey looked at him "But how can we both be me?"
"See that dent in your brain?" The boy asked.
Grey nodded.
The man looked at Grey, completely ignoring his question. "Don't get me wrong bud, you are looking top notch. However," He grabbed Grey's face and looked at his eyes. "Those eyes! And those clothes! I guess every set of twins has a less fortunate." He said, playfully.
Grey looked at him in disbelief. "We can't both be me."
The man pondered, grabbing his chin. "Huh.. I guess you're right. Who should I be then?" The boy laughed.
Grey rolled his eyes and pushed the thought away. He needed to focus on the
