“If any boy looks at me in a wrong way I will choke their neck out,” Marisa announced as I parked my car in the school’s parking lot.
“Well in that case there will be a lot of dead guys at our school.” I opened my door as she opened hers to get out. When we were fully out we noticed all the guys with their mouths open looking at Marisa and me.
“Restrain yourself Marisa, do not choke.” She repeated over to herself as we walked into the school.
“Hey sexy want to come over later?” A random guy shouted at Marisa. She exhaled loudly and counted to 10 as we kept walking down the hallway. One guy came up to her and squeezed her butt. She screeched, turned around, brought her fist back, and let it collide with the guys face. His nose made a disturbing crunching noise before he fell to the floor groaning. I scrunched my face up with disgust as my stomach twist. I really don’t like that noise at all.
“Don’t f*cking touch me!” She shouted in his face. She stood back up and looped her arm with mine like nothing happened. “So where is Matt?” She asked. I shrugged my shoulders.
“I have no idea! He hasn’t texted me at all or called or anything!” She looked sympathetic at me.
“I knew he wasn’t going to be a good boyfriend,” she announced stopping at our lockers. I opened my locker and grabbed the books I needed.
“What would make you say that?” I asked putting my books in my bag.
“Well it’s just that he’s a player, a jerk, and doesn’t care about anyone’s feelings.” She shrugged. I paused what I was doing and snapped my head up to her I thought I got whiplash.
“How do you know he’s a player? How do you even know his personality? You’ve never talked to him!” I whisper screamed at her.
“Look I’ve heard stories and I’ve had friends that dated him.” She shrugged her shoulders.
“Fine whatever don’t be happy for me!” I closed my bag angrily. She sighed and turned to me.
“I’m not, not happy for you. I mean I’m happy your happy I’m just……just…..telling you my opinion of how this will turn out.” She pulled me into a hug.
“Well I respect your opinion I guess….I just don’t like it.” I pulled back and picked up my bag. She copied my actions and we walked to math together.
Matt was at the back of the class away from the spot he sat in yesterday. When I saw him I noticed Stacy followed him and now sat next to him where I would’ve sat. I frowned and sat down where I did yesterday. Marisa sat next to me and snuck a glance at Matt who was flirting with Stacy. She scoffed and turned to me. “You sure you don’t want me to break his wrist? Castrate him?” I started laughing and Matt noticed me for the first time. He was waving his hands frantically trying to gain my attention, but I just ignored him. He frowned and turned back to Stacy. Good he can have his tramp!
