AN: Yo ✌ thanks for checking this fanfic out. It's ShikamaruxOC, I'm not inserting anyone into any clans (though there will be insertion into a team, sorry ;-; I'd avoid it if I could because I like keeping things as canon as possible...save y'know...totally breaking up Shikamari and all that jazz) so if that bugs you, hopefully you'll be able to struggle through this wonderful attempt at a story.

I haven't written a fanfic...or like...anything other than college/high school papers in literal years, so we'll see how this goes, but re-watching Naruto has lit a fire under my butt and makes me want to write again, so here I am. For future reference, I'm Allison (a.k.a. Ere).
