A world were wishes came true :part 1

"Get up Amber !" Her mom yell at her from the kitchen. Amber slowly arose and walked sluggishly to her closet there she picked a pink v-neck and a pair of high rise jean shorts hoping to get her crush to notice her. Thinking about her crush made her all giddy and she put her clothes on then sprayed some of her perfume and ran down the stairs. When she got down stairs her mom was making breakfast for her and her younger bother max. She sat down at the table with Michael still in her thoughts, she blushed a little. Her mom was making pancakes and she put four of the finished ones on the table. Amber quickly grabbed two of them and started to eat them a lot quicker than usual.
After breakfast she almost ran to the bathroom to get ready for school. In the mirror she thought" I wish I looked like Patricia Harding."Patricia was the pretty girl at school,the one who had that cliche of other pretty girls, and she was also a varsity cheerleader. She knew that she couldn't ever look like her so she put her makeup on brushed her teeth straightened her hair and walked to the bus stop. The ride like usual was short the high schoolers like her in the back the other kids sitting in the rest of the seats. She got to school and saw Michael, he look at her and smiled and she started to blush. Michael continued to talk to his football friends. Amber walked to her locker and grabbed her stuff for first period. She shared that class with Michael and Patricia. She got into her class and sat down with a few minutes to spare. Michael like always came in late and sat a row away from Amber. Class started and Amber started to make flirty moves with Michael. Look at him when he's not looking, rub her pin along her bottom lip, blow air kisses at him. Then when it was time to split into groups she was determined to pair with him but Patricia beat her to him. She thought to herself I wish I could have been paired with him. but instead got pairs with Fred Livingston, an over weight 5'5 guy with short curly hair who was a part of every club( robotics, spelling bowl, science bowl, FFA) and he was on the bottom of the popularity list.
