that soft look, his eyes were still dull, but not as cold looking. i crave those eyes, i want him, i need him too save me.

the voices were back already. he doesn't like you. the hot tears are rolling down my face, like a steady stream when my phone starts ringing. i clear my throat & answer.

"hello?"
"we have a table, come back!"
"okay."

i sigh & head back, when i turn to look behind me too see the boy from my dreams, i see him talking to a girl. a girl with auburn curls, a beautiful, skinny girl, unlike me.

i stay quiet the whole supper, after we finish eating i finally speak up. "can we go home?" i ask. luke looks at me surprised but nods,
"yeah, sure." he mutters, scared to ask about why im so quiet.
"i want to drop out." i randomly bring up, but it's true.
"dad won't be happy if you do." luke replies quickly.
"of course you answer with that, instead of saying 'its your choice' or something supportive you mention dad. i don't give a shït about what he thinks. i cant stand school."
"oh. sorry." luke murmurs sinking back into his chair.
