Chapter 9: Ice cream.

Pacifica pov : Dipper and I decided to go get ice cream together. I ordered Mouse tracks and he ordered Birthday cake. We sat on top of his roof staring down at the woods eating our ice creams silently. " Dipper?" I asked. "Yes?"
"I think this is the best day I've ever had in a while." I said smiling at him. He smiled back and nudged my shoulder laughing. " Any day is fun with you." I leaned in to kiss Dipper when we heard Footsteps climbing up. I turned to see Candy there smiling at us. " Hi love birds!" She said and I blushed. " Hey, what's up?"
" I wanted to come up and enjoy nature with you guys. Mabel and Grenda are always cooped up inside with Thier crazy magazines. " She laughed and I smiled at her. She sat down next to dipper who offered her some of his ice cream. She said yes and licked a bit. A pang of Jelously hit me. Why were they sharing a cone? Shouldn't that be me?! Dipper glanced at me seeing my annoyed face he gave the rest to Candy. I got up saying I needed to use the bathroom. I walked in and splashed water on my face. I stopped remembering the makeup. Wait I didn't wear make up any more. Part of me missed the old life of pampered prettyness. But I loved the simpness of this life. Being cool and have a dorky boyfriend. I smiled feeling better and walked back up. I saw candy resting her head down on the tiles with Dipper as the laughed at each others jokes. Dipper and candy seemed so happy. I imagined if I had never came would Dipper and candy end up together? I walked over and laid down next to Dipper. He smiled at me and I slightly smiled back. I felt like a thief. Like I stole candy's man, like I stole her future with him. But I loved Dipper. And I wasent going to give it up. " Dipper." I whispered to him and looked over at me. " You okay?" I asked. He shrugged." I'm okay. Are you okay?"
" I'm okay."
