Movie suprise

       Peyton's POV
I was taking Y/N to the movies, just as friends. We had been friends for a little over two years. We had grown quite close. Almost like a brother sister relationship, but not literally, and we didn't think of each other like that.

I really liked Y/N. She was gorgeous, smart, and funny. Oh and could definitely hang out with the guys. She was pretty much the perfect best friend. Not to mention if a girl liked me she would always give me a heads up, and tell me about the girl. Or as she said "giving a warning".

But then I started to think of Y/N very differently. I thought of her as being more then a friend. And when she would talk about other boys I would get jealous. I didn't know if she liked me back or not, but I felt like I needed to do something about it.

So that's why I asked her to go to the movies with me. She of course said yes, like I knew she would. I had a little surprise for her once we were at the movies. I was so excited.

Once we had gotten to the movies I went and got tickets, while I gave her money to buy popcorn, snacks, and drinks. I always let her get the food. She liked to do everything a certain way.

She put extra butter and cheesy powder on the popcorn, got two large drinks, and picked out random surprise candy for us every time. And if we didn't like our own candy, we would switch.

Once we both had our stuff, I carried the drinks while she had the popcorn and candy. We gave the man our tickets and then he told us which theatre. I loved going to the movies with her.

We sat down at the very top. We were some of the first few people in there. She put the candy in her lap while I put the popcorn in the floor for a moment. I had something I had to do first.

I looked straight into her eyes and asked her something important. I asked "Y/N will you be my girlfriend? I have liked you as a best friend for two years now, and here lately I've been liking you more than my friend. So will you be my girlfriend?"

She looked at me and said "I thought you'd never ask." We then both started laughing and then kissed. Our movie started soon after. So we held hands and watched the best movie ever. It was only the best because it was our first movie as a couple.

"And that kids, is how your mom and I started dating." I kiss my kids on their foreheads goodnight.

"Wait so you and mommy kiss?" Our son asked.

"Only sometimes when you aren't looking." My loving wife said.

"Oh geez." Our youngest daughter said.

"Goodnight." My wife and I both said as we turned their lights off and shut the door.

"I've always loved that story Peyton." "I've always loved telling it Y/N."
