chapter one: leaving

(Camila's p.o.v)

"Im gonna miss you so much mila" I heard Dinah say as we sobbed into each other arms "I'm gonna miss you to Dinah" I managed to say before I started sobbing again. "Promise me you'll come back please promise me mila" I pulled away from her and made my way to my almost empty drawers. I pulled out my necklace that she had given me for my birthday. It was half of a heart with my name engraved into it, she had the other half around her neck exactly the same as mine except with her name engraved into it. "Here keep mine" I told her "if I'm going to keep yours i want you to have mine, so that way we have each other's names to remember each other" she smiled at me "I will always remember you china." There was a knock on my door "mija ally and normani are here" I heard my mom say from the other side of the door "okay Mami let them in" I answered her. A few seconds later ally and normani entered my room. "Milaaa!!" They came over and hugged me "were gonna miss you girl" normani said while her arms still wrapped around me."I'm going to miss you guys as well" soon we were all huddled up crying in each others arms. After all the crying the girls decided to sleep over at my house before i leave the next day, so like our usual sleepovers, we got a big stack of movies from my shelf, a bucket ice cream, and covers and pillows to make our fort. When everything was set up normani called to order some pizza. Soon ally and normani had fallen asleep while me and Dinah decided to prank them since this was my last night with them. We both got some eyeliner and started drawing on there faces. As we both finished, we got some whip cream and smacked it in their face's and ran downstairs to hide. After what seemed like forever we went back upstairs to my room but as soon as we stepped in I felt something hit my back I guess it hit Dinah as well " fucking shit that's cold" were the words she said we both looked at each other wide eyed. One reason being we got soaked in cold water, and two she cursed for the first time. She cupped her mouth still shocked of the words that came out of her mouth. "Do you think your mom heard me?" She asked me "probably, you said it pretty loud" Dinah turned to glare at her "shut up Mani". while Dinah and I went to change clothes Mani and ally went back to bed. Soon me and Dinah fell back to sleep. Morning came by quicker than I had imagined, I was saying my last goodbyes to the girls "guys I'll be back i promise, I love you girls so much"I told them "promise?" Dinah asked. I held up my pinky "promise" I reassured her, we had or fingers interlocked until it was time for me to go. As my dad was pulling out of the driveway, I looked out the window and looked at Dinah and pointed down to the necklace around my neck then made a heart with my hands, and that was the last thing I remembered of that day. "I'll be back" I whispered to my self as mu dad drove away.
