       Tuesday, August 11

I woke up to the sound of my twin brother, Eric, blaring his music. "TURN THAT SHIT OFF! PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SLEEP." I yelled at him before walking in there and turning it off myself. "it's 1:00 in the afternoon, you should have been awake by now." I crossed my arms and stared at him in annoyance. "I'm sorry, Grace. I'll turn it down." he said as he rolled his eyes. I ignored his words and walked down stairs to get some food. When I finally realized there was nothing I wanted, I decided to go out to get something. I ran upstairs to put some presentable clothes on. A white blink-182 tee, some ripped jeans and my favorite vans. My hair was already straight from the night before so I didn't bother fixing it. And I decided I looked fine without makeup. I ran down to the car and drove to some nearby coffee shop.

As I walked into the coffee shop I noticed a boy sitting in the corner booth, he was staring at me long enough for me to notice but when I made eye contact I watched his eyes travel down my body, he winked, then took a sip. Typical fuckboy move. I didn't bother saying anything, I figured I would just be wasting my time. But damn, he was attractive. He was the perfect figure of trouble. Which was actually something I was totally into. I got my coffee and went to sit down. I could see him from across the room, he was still looking. I didn't feel uncomfortable, actually, I didn't want him to look away. He eventually got up and started walking my way, "Here he comes, keep it cool, Grace," I thought to myself, but he turned and walked out the door. Damnit.

The next day was the first day of school and I did not want to go. But it's my senior year so I was ready to get it over with. I woke up and took a shower. I did my makeup: concealer, foundation, powder, winged eyeliner, mascara, and red lipstick. I dried and straightened my long brown hair with blonde highlights. I put on a black crop top with white ripped skinny jeans and black heels. It was the first day of my last year of school and I was ready to impress. Besides, I knew I was gonna look like crap on all the other days of school. I ran down stairs got in my car and drove to school. I had no time for breakfast so I skipped it.

When I got to school the first person I actually wanted to see was my best friend Callie. Callie was funny, and very beautiful. She had long brown hair and dark green eyes, and her skin was a sun kissed tan. When I saw her a few minutes later she was wearing a periwinkle off the shoulder shirt with black high waisted shorts and black heels. "Grace, you slay today," she said to me with a laugh following behind. "Thanks, Callie. You too."

My first class was English. As I walked in I was greeted by my two best guy friends, Zack and Michael. "You might not want to wear something like that often, all the guys here are drooling. You never know what they might actually do. Although you do look stunning," Michael said with a wink. Michael has always been like a brother to me, I've known him for forever. "Thanks Michael, you don't look too bad yourself," Zack laughed. "What's so funny? You look like you rolled out of bed, shit head." Michael said rolling his eyes at Zack. "No I laughed because that guy behind Grace is staring at her ass." I then turned around and stood with my arms crossed. "You like what you see?" I asked. he shook his head yes, "I'd like to see more." I looked at him in disgust and slapped him causing everyone in the room to turn their heads. I walked off to my seat. The bell rung.

It's now lunchtime and I go sit by Callie, Zack and Michael. We were all talking about a party that we wanted to go to this Friday. I noticed a guy dressed in all black sitting behind Callie and Zack. He looked a lot like the guy from the coffee shop, although all I could see was the back of him. When he finally got up I did the same. I noticed that it was him. And I confronted him about why he was staring at me in the coffee shop. "I just thought you were hot," that's all he said as he walked off with his friends. He thought I was hot? in a band tee and jeans? I laughed to myself and went back to my friends.

I went home and heard my brother still playing really loud music. I went up to his room to tell him I was home. When I walked into his room I realized that he had a friend over, his friend was the guy from the coffee shop. "Hey Eric, I just came up here to tell you I'm home." I said avoiding eye contact with his friend. "Okay... oh Grace this is my friend Luke." "Hey," I said acting like I didn't really care. "Hey you're that hot girl from the coffee shop, nice ass." Luke said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes and left the room. Getting into some trouble with Luke didn't seem like a bad idea at all... I have to get closer to him. I went into my room to change into something more comfortable, black leggings, a band tee and fuzzy socks. I threw my hair up into a pony tail, put my head phones on, and listened to Sombody Else by The 1975.
