Chapter Two / mother changed?

As I have been sitting here just staring at the wall for a couple of hours
I heard a door open from downstairs knowing who it was
I sign and slowly got out of bed and before walking out the door I check the time and its 8:24 its been 5 hours
I went down stairs to the kitchen to see mom signing papers
I frown of confusion
she looks different her hair is not in a messy bun I think she dye it 'cause I remember her hair was light brown yesterday now its black
she's wearing a beautiful blue dress and she usually doesn't wear dresses often specially high heels
I step in the kitchen for her to notice me
She quickly looks up and directly shoots me a warm smile
"Hey darling I bought some cookies if you want some chocolate chip your favorite" she stood up handing me a plate of chocolate chips cookies
I took it and look at her weirdly but also in disbelief
"mom are you okay do I need to call 911" I said dramatically
she giggled "I know I look different but I did it for a reason y/n since I realize I was doing wrong things and didn't pay attention what was important which is our family I decided to change up a bit" she explain
Mother changed just for me
she change to be a good mother and she finally realize that she was going to the wrong direction
I look at the tasty chocolate chip cookies they even smell so good
"wow mom you change just for me" I said
She smiled again but this time her smile meat something and it weirdly touch my heart like if I came back alive again
But I shot myself down and felt
like if I have a heart of a zombie
"You didn't change up a bit , you change a lot" I said
She smiles again and hand me a glass of milk
I thank her and give her a tight hug
I headed to the living room and watch TV "Pretty Little Lairs" my favorite tv show
Then I felt my phone vibrate
I frown who will be calling me?
I took out my phone from my pocket and saw its was jade
I sadly smile and press answer
"Hello?"
"Hello lovely are you home?"
Jade asked
"Yes I am home"
"My mom is leaving for the weekend and I was wondering if I could stay with you for the weekend?" I smiled
I look back to check on mom and she is still signing papers why is she signing papers
For some reason I starting to feel nervous
"I'll ask my mother"
I stood up from the coach and before walking in the kitchen I creepily check on her and she is still signing papers what are those papers
It might be for house bills or for my application for job I don't know but something tells me she's keeping a secret I sign and walked in the kitchen
"Mom?" I said
She looks up at me and smiled
"Yes honey?" She asked
I sign nervously "jade parents are leaving for the weekend jade asked if she could stay for the weekend?" I asked I knew she's gonna say no
"Sure I'll just talk to her mother" she kindly said.
Wow that wasn't that bad
I sadly smiled and give her a hug
"Hello jade?"
"Yes y/n?"
"You might be surprise she said yes and she will like to speck to your mother"
"That's great I'll be there any farer than 10 minutes see you there"
"See you here jade"
Then she hang up
This gonna be wild
