The Shire was beautiful on the day Fi and Ruth had to meet Gandalf for an important meeting. Fi was getting distracted by all the Hobbits, who kept offering tea and biscuits. The offers were hard to refuse due to the fact that the smell was lingering throughout the Shire.
Ruth was nearly at the Baggins house, after getting lost twice, when Fi was no where to be found. She then had to retrace her steps just to find her friend who cannot keep her shit together. Ruth found Fi at a bakery looking at all the different danishes and pies. Ruth stood at the door frame of the bakery with a look of disappointment.
"Fi, what happened to eating pears and shit? Aren't you trying to be healthy?" Ruth asked placing her hands on her hips. Fi turned to face her companion with a guilty smile on her face.
"Well, if I buy a pear pie, it counts doesn't it?" Fi questioned, raising her huge water bottle to her lips and taking a huge swig. Ruth knocked it out of her hands, sending it flying across the bakery. Fi just looked at Ruth deadpan without breaking eye contact.
"Ruthaer Kela, pick up my water bottle or I am going to fling your thermos across Middle Earth," Fi threatened, but Ruth was already out the door.
"We have no time to waste, I don't have an interest in pissing off the Wizard," Ruth said. They were beginning to have trouble keeping a good pace due to the amount of stuff they had on them. Fi was carrying two giant hammers, one for each hand, a giant water bottle, lip balm, and her sour candy. Ruth was carrying her two daggers, her spare daggers, more spare daggers, her thermos and her giant cloak with the big hood.
They managed to make their way to the Hobbits home, which was already full of dwarves and a wizard. Fi tapped on the door and a small hobbit came to open it. He looked rather flustered and bothered. Fi and Ruth both looked down and bowed.
"Fi Dinaer and Ruth Kela, at your service," Ruth introduced with a smile, feeling pity for the poor hobbit. He pushed a smile and bowed in response.
"BIlbo Baggins at yours."
