Chapter 2|| The Second Change

I sat there in Victoria's arm, secretly wishing death on Zac. He really cheated on me? "Babe, what are you thinking?" Victoria asked me. I don't know why, but I couldn't take being sad anymore. Especially over so stupid I decided that I wanted to be something. Something better. Like I was in high school. Cool, cute, popular. I already finished my 1st year in college and I'm on summer break. I said the same words I said to Erin and Sarah not too long ago. "I want to change." I said. Victoria looked at me with sudden interest. "You want to change... How?" She asked. Honestly I didn't know how to respond. "My persona. My looks. My hair. Everything. Just change it " I responded. "Well honey, I'm not good with change." She said. At that time I wanted to punch her in her perfect face, yank all her beautiful, long hair out of her head, and sling her gorgeous body out of a window. Damn. That was harsh.

"Y'all know I was just playing," she said. "I'll help. Let's hit the mall." Oh, ok." I responded. We hopped into her blue convertible and drove off. Once we got to the mall she dived straight into Forever 21 buying anything that was cute. "I WEAR A SMALL!" I yelled. I went into Topshop picking out comfy clothes, since I left the majority of my clothes at his place. I picked up some sweats, a couple of loose crop tops, and some sports bras. I paid for it quickly and whipped out my phone and texted Victoria to meet me at the food court. She responded with a no, meet me at 'QuickCuts.

I put my phone away, and started to walk to QuickCuts. It was a short walk until I bumped into a bulldozer. "Shit, not again." I whispered. I raced to QuickCuts ignoring the bulldozers' attempt to stop me including a "Stop clumsy!" When I got to QuickCuts Victoria was standing there impatiently, talking to the hairstylist. "Oh, there you are. We are giving your hair some volume." Knowing there was no way around this, I just nodded my head and sat down. The man added some extensions and darkened my hair to almost fully black. After we paid the man, we went back to the car. Victoria said I couldn't look at myself until we put me on outfits. She then told me there was a party at one of her friends house. I just agreed, knowing she was going to force me. "Hot damnnnnn." She said before speeding to get to her house. You know before we got stopped by the police.
