***Marie's POV***
I was looking up into the shocked eyes of my mom and sister. I was still laying on the floor.
"How long have you been standing there?" I asked, suddenly sober. I stood up and walked over to stand next to Shaun.
"I was just coming down the stairs to see if you were up for school yet when you broke the window." My dad says.
"Oh." Is all I can say while I watch my mom and sister giving each other incredulous looks.
"Isn't it a little early to be drinking? Let alone drunk." My dad asks.
"Technically we have been partying all night and are just coming home." Shaun says, oblivious to the fact that that should be kept a secret.
"Oh really. And where would this party have taken place?" My dad asks the both of us.
"The Warehouse. Of course."Shaun should really stop talking.
"You mean THE Warehouse?" Asks Hailey.
"As in the place where the street fighters hang out?" Ugh! Hailey don't encourage him!
" Well of course. What other place do you know of that's called the Warehouse?" Shaun stop talking!
"Why on earth would you go there?" My mom shrieks.
"Why wouldn't we go there? We both fight there almost every night." Why wasn't I shutting up Shaun again? That's right I couldn't get a word in.
My mom and Hailey had horrified looks on their faces and my dad was frozen. My mom was about to say something, most likely about how dangerous that was an dhow I could get hurt so easily but I beat her to it.
"You can relax. I'm the second best street fighter after this SOB here." I pointed to Shaun.
"Hey!" Shaun said but I shot him a look that said 'shut up!' I was so done with Shaun's drunk mind.
"Marie how long have you been doing this? It's so dangerous!" My mom said.
"It's not that dangerous mom." I replied,"We've been doing it for years! How long has it been Shaun?"
"I don't know. Four, five, maybe six years.Who knows. It's too hard to keep track of that kind of thing." Shaun responds.
"Years?!" Yelled my mom and sister almost simultaneously.
"Can we just continue this when your actually sober?" My dad asks.
"Sure but you never know when that is." I say acting like I'm constantly drunk or drinking.
"Just leave please. I need time to comprehend everything that I'm hearing right now." My dad tells me. I just shrug and walk Shaun to the door.
"By the way, we're moving to San Diego next week." My dad tells as I'm walking to my room knowing fully well that my tattoo and blue streak are out for the world to see. I figured why not start letting the realm show now?
•••NEXT MORNING•••
When I woke up the next day I was ready to show everyone the real me before we moved. I had taken the time to clean out all the junk music in my iPod. Now it only had the music on it that I liked.
I had done my makeup darker than usual and I really wasn't going for a natural look. I had straitened my hair so my streak of blue and newly dyed blue bangs showed. I was wearing combat boots, black short shorts, and a dark blue almost black shirt that cut off at my belly button. Showing off my piercing.
I had just walked out of my room when Hailey walked down the stairs, eyeing what i was wearing. I just walked into the kitchen where my parents were eating. My dad nearly choked on the coffee he was drinking when he saw me. I grabbed an apple and sat down.
"what are you wearing?" my mom practically screeched.
I looked down at what I was wearing then back up at her," clothes." I say back.
"don't use that tone with me young lady. And go change right now. Those clothes are too revealing. You look like a whore." my mom practically yells at me.
I'd had enough I got up and walked to the garage that held all my street cars.
I walked in and saw my Maserati. I grabbed the keys and got in.
I had made sure to grab my bag, phone, and iPod as I walked out. I hooked up my now pop free iPod and put on Someone That Your With by Nickleback. When the music started I drove off to school. I can't wait to see everyone's expressions when they see me.
As I pulled up to the school I could tell they were all staring. Of course who wouldn't. A blood red Maserati pulls up, blaring Down With The Sickness by Disturbed. That is what you see everyday. Isn't it? Well for me it is.
"Hey Liv!" is the first thing I hear when I get out of my car.
"I've told you twice already now. It's Marie." I tell Troy hearing gasps as I say I'm Marie. Apparently my street name is well known.
"sorry sweetheart but your not Marie. You may be liv but you aren't Marie." Matt Townsen, a football player says.
"Sorry to burst your bubble but yes I am." I say.
"Prove it." Tyler Makentosh says.
"Okay. My name is Marie Hannah Adams and I'm a little innocent girl who gets perfect grades and is flat out perfect." I say hating that I was like that. Of course, I was me now so it didn't matter what I had done.
"Anyone would know that." Tyler said back.
"Oh yeah? Did you know my middle name?" I ask him,"Does anyone?"
"Hannah is Marie's middle name." I hear Lauren say from not too far away. I turn around and see Lauren and Sammy not far from where I stand next to Troy. I know that I should have told them but I just couldn't ever bring myself to tell them. I mean sure this moment right now would be a lot easier but I just couldn't tell them.
"I still don't believe that that is Marie." I hear Tyler say as I walk towards Lauren and Sammy.
"Sorry I didn't tell you guys. I really wanted to but I couldn't ever make myself actually tell you"
"It's okay. I just can't believe you were living a double life the entire time!" Sammy says.
"I know. I'm sorry again." I said, just as I felt a pair of arms snake around my waist.
"I missed you last night Marie." Troy said from behind me.
"I'm kinda on house arrest at the moment. Well at least from 6-9. I was just to tired to sneak out last night." I say to him.
"Why are you on house arrest?" Lauren asks, worried.
"I walked into my house piss drunk the other morning then they found out about the street fighting." I say like its nothing because it is nothing. Well compared to the stuff that I have done.
"Street fighting!?!" Sammy yells,"But that's so dangerous!"
"Not if your the best." Troy says still behind me. Lauren was about to say something but was cut off by the bell ringing.
