The Mission

The room was filled with darkness and silence. Two women sat down on a couch. The silence was like a blanket cover over them. Suddenly it was not.

"Where is Victoria? She is always late. It is getting very annoying." Veronica said abruptly.

"What do you want Ron?" Victoria walked through the automatic doors.

"I would like to get started with this meeting. If you care, Vic." Veronica snapped back.

"Shush girls, Victoria next time, on time." Vanessa said. Victoria jumped, seeming not to have saw the boss.

"Sorry boss, but you will have to try harder. I will come when I want to." Victoria was the only one not scared of Vanessa.

"Ya right." Veronica said sarcastically.

"Shut up." Victoria retorted.

"Girls!" Vanessa spoke loudly. Everything was back silent. "This mission is special. I need you to take out that tea shop on central avenue."

"Britta's Books and Tea? Don't those two girls from the university run it. God they are such snobs." Veronica said.

"Yes Veronica and please stop interrupting." Vanessa said.

"Sorry boss." Veronica said followed by a giggle from Victoria.

"As I was saying, I need you to take that shop down. But there is a catch. Keep Berkley alive and kill the spare."

"You want us to commit murder?" Victoria said shocked.

"It's not like we all haven't done it before Vicky." Veronica said back.

"What is wrong with you girls today, please shut up!" Vanessa said. There were a few moments before Victoria spoke again.

"How are we supposed to accomplish this, may I ask?"

"Easy peasy. I am going to get hired as a waitress, you will be a costumer, I will pretend to poison you and then you pass out. I will call an "inspector" and have the place closed for good." Veronica said.

"That's sounds good but, I want Berkley to be framed for it." Vanessa spoke.

"What is up with you and this Berkley? Do you have a grudge against her?" Victoria said. There was a long silence and Vanessa made a face at Victoria implying not to ask questions.

"Fine, no answers taken." She replied quickly. "Any other notes we may need?"

"Yes, she has a twin sister. She shall be the first dead." The lights flickered in the room.

"We will do all we can boss." Veronica said proudly.

"There will be consequences of you don't." Vanessa said. With that Victoria and Veronica left the room and into the main hall.

"How is it she doesn't creep you out Vicky?" Veronica asked.

"She just doesn't. Where I come from everyone is scary. I need the money she provides us to evacuate the area. I've had enough of those drunks."

"Sorry to hear that," Veronica said.

"Oh Roni, it's what toughens me up for this. Murdering people, just yesterday my cousin died in the alley behind my house. But that's our world I guess."

"You're right, I guess in order to be top class we have to kill the spare."

"No kidding," Victoria mumbled. "I got to go pick up my brother from the university. Bye Veronica." Victoria said as she headed out down the hall and out the double doors.

"Bye Victoria." Veronica wished that she was like Victoria. Victoria was fearless, she could walk into a zombie apocalypse and not be fazed by anything and still be the final survivor. She has gotten her black belt at age 12.

Don't even get me started on her looks. She was so innocent yet strong and independent. She had porcelain pale skin with a face full of freckles. She had big brown eyes that could kill you in an instant and put you to sleep. She had firery red, poofy, curly hair. Even the smallest match could burst her head into flames.

All the guys at the university liked her. In the past year she had had 9 boyfriends and counting. These traits are what made her the boss's favorite. Yes she was late but had more experience than Veronica had. This is why Veronica wished to be Victoria.

At the same time Victoria wished to be Veronica. For Veronica had soft yet calloused skin, something wanted if you are to hold a knife correctly. She also had blonde thick hair with natural highlights of brown.

Everyone wanted to be friends with her. She was outgoing and kind, of course not when on a mission trying to kill someone. She pushed away everyone so perfectly and did it all with a smile, so nobody knew her true self. She was good undercover and loved disguises. This is why Veronica was the boss's favorite. Yes she is a bit annoying but very good at what she does.

Both girls were perfect for the job because they were so different and worked well together. No one would suspect them.

Back in the office Vanessa was planning out her inspecting script. Nothing would stop her from getting to Berkley after what she did to her. The best way was to take away everything she loved. And after watching her suffer, eventually killing her.

Two men about the age of 26 walked through the doors.

"Mrs. List I know what your doing." The first man spoke.

Vanessa covered up her papers with her arms. "What do you mean?" Vanessa said with no worry in her voice at all.

"I think you do, and why wouldn't you tell us?" The second man said.

"Dr. Nelson this mission is special. It's the last time you will be seeing Veronica and Victoria."

"What are you talking about?" Dr. Nelson said.

"After this mission their finished, literally."

"What are you talking about?" Dr. Nelson repeated.

"I'm going to kill them."

So this wasn't originally going to be a story but I thought it was a cool plot. At my birthday party we made an iMovie and this was the story, even some of the dialogue is the same. Of course I added a few minor details to it but the main plot is the same. Hope you enjoy!!!!
