The sun shone through the window into the tea shop. The shop smelled like old books and peaches. There was only about four people in the shop. They were either drinking tea, eating pastries, or reading.

There was a young lady standing by the window on a small stage. Looking in the distance she mumbled a bit and snapped her fingers as if she was humming a tune. Like she was singing to a song.

Aside from the shop she was Braylin Britta. A twin. She was the the half that was talented, popular, and all around likable. The lead singer in a band. They played every Saturday at the shop. What Braylin loved most about her life was her sister. She couldn't possibly live without Berkley.

Berz berz. Braylin's phone buzzed. It was a text from her band group message: The Singsongs🎤🎤

Gabi😂: Hey is there still practice tonight at the shop?

Jonah😎: I guess so- right Bray?

Braybray💕: Yep tonight at 6:30. See you their.

Braylin put down her phone and grabbed a small journal out of the bag next to her. She jotted down a few song lyrics: you watch me standing there smiling yet crying, I'm not ready to leave.

Meanwhile, back in the kitchen another young lady was fixing a cup of tea and attempting to read at the same time. She pushed up her glasses on her nose thinking how nerdy she must look but embraced it proudly.

She poured the tea into a small cup with a plate underneath it. Closing the book and taking a sip of the tea she assessed an important question to her. What did she like most about her life?

She answered the question immediately. Obviously her twin sister Braylin. Just like her, Berkley was a twin who couldn't live without the other half of herself.

She wasn't like her sister though. She wasn't very popular, shy, awkward, and would rather cuddle up with a book instead of attending a party.

The last thing the two girls were expecting for today was a new employee looking for a lot of trouble.

It was a quarter to noon and Braylin was in the corner of the shop texting her boyfriend Max. It was a secret kept from Berkley because Max happened to be Berkley's best friend. Since Braylin was deep in conversation with Max she didn't even notice a young girl around her age walk into the shop.

She had a sweet face with beautiful blonde hair. Just her smile brightened up the whole room. She seemed to be looking for someone in particular. Once she saw the beautiful girl in the corner of the shop she walked right in over.

The girl knew immediately who this was. She could tell by the full, extravagant brown hair, the tan soft looking skin. It was Braylin Britta.

"Excuse me but where is the manager, I wish to speak to her." The girl said.

Braylin didn't look up from her phone but answered "in the kitchen" and pointed to the left towards some glass windows.

Through the windows the girl could see Berkley. She looked exactly like her sister except her hair was bushier and curlier. She also wore big round glasses.

The girl walked towards the kitchen. "Um hello. May I speak to you for a moment."

"Sure. I'm Berkley Britta, manager of the shop." Berkley said.
