When I woke up that morning my eyes were swelled up from all my crying. I got up changed into my regular "ugly" clothes and put on some make-up. I went downstairs and grabbed my lunch. My mom said the bus would be here in about 5 minutes, so I rushed outside. I saw that at the bus stop there was a group of people. I stood to the side so I wouldn't "interfere" with them. But one of the boys noticed me, but then he gave me a look and turned around. I wasn't sure what the look was, but it might've been a smile, but probably not.

The bus came and we all got on. I found and empty seat and sat down. Yes, a seat up front! I love the seats up front because they're by the door, and they're always empty.

But the a group of girls came and told me to get up,"Hey you! Yeah you ugly Betty. That's my spot, so move your fat ass," I quickly stood up. Would you want to be in that situation?

When I got up, one of the girls tripped me and said to me,"What are you doing, kissing the ground? Only desperate people like you would do that!" they all laughed at me. You're probably thinking that they're aren't THAT bad, but you're wrong.

When we got to school I had to wait for the aisle to clear out. When it did I got up and walked to the door. I stopped and sighed.

Then bus driver tapped me on the back and told me,"Don't listen to those girls. The only thing they have that you don't is stupidity,." I smiled, the bus driver will always be there for me.

I hurried up and ran to my locker. I did my combination like 10,000 times and it wouldn't open. I checked the number and it was mine. I was so frustrated, I banged and kicked it. Still, it wouldn't open. I was tired of trying so I sat on the ground, and stayed there until second period. Then the boy from this morning saw me.

"What are you doing? First period just ended!" I pointed to my locker. "Ah, it won't open? What's your combo, maybe I can help?"

"I...already tried that a zillion times. It won't budge."

Then a group of girls, yep THOSE girls, came up and made the boy leave the "Ugly Betty" alone. He said he was helping but then she slapped him. He decided to follow them and let me be. I noticed that he dropped a piece of paper while he walked away. I picked it up and saw numbers on it. OH MY GOSH! His cell number; too bad...I don't have a phone.
