When the bell rang for lunch, I slowly dragged myself to the cafeteria. I would have to go, pay for crap, then look for a spot, get rejected, and then eat in a bathroom stall. But, instead the same boy invited me to his table.I reluctantly went to sit down. Suddenly a slim, tan, blonde girl, I didn't know, sat in the spot.
"Sorry, this seat's taken. But there IS one in the girl's bathroom. You might fit in there," she just smiled at me. "I heard a rumor you've been staring at my boyfriend, a lot. Come here hon," she got up, pulled me from the table and told me,"If you ever so as much talk to my boyfriend, I will fucking slap you right on the spot."
"I promise I won't..."
"Good, now go sit somewhere far away. Did I tell you how lovely the girl's bathroom is?" I felt like I was murdered by those words. I felt tears roll down my eyes. I dropped my tray and ran out of the cafeteria crying. They all laughed at me, except that boy.
