Gerard
I watched Violet leave, but she looked like she didn't want to.....and she seemed sad about something....I wonder what's up. She felt very nice in my arms, and surprisingly, she didn't push me away. When I walked in the door, I was greeted by my kitten, Ghost, meowing at me and making those strange cat noises. "Hey little guy, did you miss me?" I asked playfully as I called Violet, and as soon as I heard her answer I immediately got a big smile on my face. "Hey Vi, wanna hang out at the bridge tonight?" I asked hopefully. I heard silence for a minute, and then she said "Yeah, sure, see ya there!" and hung up. "Yessssssss!" I exclaimed happily. "Okay, Gerard, tonight's the night, you gotta tell her how you feel," I thought to myself as I tried to find something to wear. Since I couldn't find any other band shirt, I settled on a Hollywood Undead one with jeans and my black Vans. As for my messy-ass hair, it took a while, but I eventually tamed it enough so that it was presentable. Right as I was checking my reflection, Ghost pawed his way in my room and jumped on my bed. 'Yep, it's gonna be a good night' I thought happily to myself as I headed out the door and down the street.
As I walked to Violet's house, I mentally rehearsed how I was going to tell her how I felt. When I knocked on the door and she ran out, I felt an almost irresistible urge to kiss her. She looked so beautiful, and I wanted to tell her that, but unfortunately, I couldn't. I wonder why she pushed me away when I hugged her...she didn't last time. "Violet, are you sure you're okay? You seem...off, I guess." "Yeah, I'm okay, Gee!" Violet replied. I'm not entirely convinced she was telling the truth, but I let it go for now. We walked in silence for a few minutes, and I used that time to look at Violet. Her hair was in front of her face, and I wanted to move it away, but if I did, she would know something's up. "Gerard...Gerard!" I snapped out of my thoughts as my friend Frank waved his hand in front of my face. "Yes, Frank?" I asked, slightly irritated. Violet spun around and said, "Hey Frankie!!" "Hey Vi!" as Frank pulled her in for a hug. That really got my blood boiling. What IS Frank doing hugging my Violet?! I know she's not MY Violet, but still...damn it, Frank, she's mine! Anyway, whenever Violet and I sat down, we were close. Like, REALLY close. I playfully shoved Vi and she laughed in response. "Hey Violet, guess what!" I said, laughing as I leaned a little bit closer. "Gee, I need space for my sass bubble." she replied and then stuck her tongue out at me. Right after that, I started tickling her, and after a few minutes, she surrendered, laughing. "Yay, the fireworks are starting!" I heard Violet squeal excitedly as a loud BOOM filled the sky. I watched her as she looked up at the different colors; God, she's beautiful. I made up my mind; it was now or never. "Um...Violet?" I asked hesitantly. "Yeah Gee?" Violet replied as she turned towards me. I know this might sound stupid, but when I looked into her beautiful green eyes, like emeralds on a snow-capped mountain, I completely lost my train of thought. "Um...uh..."I stuttered. Damn it Gerard, she's right there, just tell her! By the time I thought of something to say, instinct took over, and so I leaned over to kiss her. With one hand in her long brown hair, and the other on her soft beautiful face, it was pure heaven...until she pushed me away, that is. As soon as she saw the hurt in my eyes, she stopped and looked at the ground. "I'm sorry...but I don't know...." Her words echoed through my head, tuning out everything but how lovely her voice could be, even when it's tinged with sadness. "Um...I better go...bye Gerard..." I heard her say as she got up and walked away. "Wait!...Violet!" I called after her, but she was already gone.
