Megara

Story : At the moment when she dies, her soul is in the River Styx on it's way to Tartarus. While Hercules is busy with Hades who's on the losing side, Thanatos, God of Death, takes advantage of the situation for he longed to rule the realm of the living and Olympus too. He choses Meg because of her connection to Hercules. He makes her alive again and Hades saw a chance to side with Thanatos to finally to get back at Zeus. But Thanatos casts him aside into the River Styx and draw out all his powers and pass them on to Meg who he uses as a vessel. Hercules wouldn't dare to hurt the woman he loves and Thanatos knows this. Feeling defeated and lost self-confidence, Hercules steps aside, giving Meg/Thanatos total freedom to conquer Olympus. Some of the Olympians flee into hiding, others are prisoners, Meg/Thanatos has Hera and Aphrodite as his personal slaves, ruling Dead Oylmpus.
