Brushing her fingers over the picture of her deceased mother. Marie-Ann tried to hold the tears that were threatening to fall out. For two years she has been this way. Just a month ago she met and fell for a robot from a different planet. Not she's leaving.

When she returned she asked Bulkhead to drive her home. He questioned at first, as did everyone else. But when they saw the look in her eyes, they new not to ask.

Miko came with Marie-Ann but her cousin never spoke. She acted the way she was when they first met Knockout and Breakdown.

An angry growl escaped Marie-Ann's lips as she kicks the dresser. Causing it to split and have splinters fly everywhere. Then she punches the wall, causing a large hole to appear.

Falling to her knees and silently weeping to herself. Marie-Ann grabbed her phone and looked through the pictures she had taken while she was in America. They were all filled with Jack, Miko, Raf, Arcee, Bulkhead, Optimus, Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Smokescreen.

Smokescreen....

"I was so close to telling him that I loved him. And now I have to leave." Marie-Ann said with regret. Sighing, she stood up and continued packing her things. Almost finished with her clothes and everything else she packed. 'I wish I wasn't a spy. Then I could stay here. And be with Smokescreen. But dammit I like Knockout too!' Marie-Ann thought angrily.

Grabbing her hair and angrily yanking at it. Marie-Ann had to hold the scream that was trying to escape.

Looking at the broken mirror. Marie-Ann looked at her reflection. She ran her fingers through her messy, red hair. All of a sudden getting a crazy idea. Marie-Ann walks to the dresser and grabs a pair of scissors. Then she grabbed all of her hair and cut it off. Only leaving her hair at neck length.

Continuing on cutting her hair, letting fire red strands fall to the ground. Marie-Ann dropped the scissors when she finishes. Staring at the new girl before her. She had the same face, same eyes. But not the same hair or personality.

"Should I stay? Or leave?" Marie-Ann asked herself. She looks at the picture that showed her mother. Then the digital photo she made with her phone. Showing all her friends she has made.

The door to her room opens and exposes Miko. She stopped mid-step when she saw Marie-Ann's new hairdo. "What the-" Miko stopped herself from asking. Knowing the situation Marie-Ann was in.

"Is the car here already?" Marie-Ann asked as she grabs her suitcase. "Actually, Smokescreen is taking you." Miko said, making her cousin freeze. "What....." was all Marie-Ann said. No emotion in her voice. "He wants to talk to you before you leave." Miko said before leaving.

"Dammit Smokescreen." Marie-Ann said before heading downstairs. The host parents and Miko were downstairs. The grownups were surprised by the hairdo. "Nice knowing you two. Thanks for taking care of me." Marie-Ann said as she shook their hands. Turning toward her cousin. Tears were running down Miko's eyes.

Marie-Ann hugged Miko tightly. Tears slowly falling down her eyes. "I promise to come again. One day." Marie-Ann whispered to Miko before heading out the door.

Smokescreen sat there in his vehicle mode. No driver was in the driver's seat. Marie-Ann smiled a little and got inside. Once she got in Smokescreen drove off. Silence consuming the two.

"Thanks....for looking out for me." Marie-Ann said as she stared at her hands.

Smokescreen didn't say anything, just continued driving. "It was fun, protecting you." Smokescreen finally said.

"Marie-Ann, I want you to know that even if you leave, I love you. You maybe human or a cyborg. But I love you. Just promise me you'll return. So we maybe could be together."

Smokescreen's words silenced her. Marie-Ann had tears running down her eyes. Beginning to nod, Marie-Ann couldn't stop her tears. "I love you too, Smokescreen. And I promise to return." She leans in and kisses the dashboard in excuse for Smokescreen's lips.

They got to the airport in under ten minutes.

Marie-Ann got out of Smokescreen and walked toward the entrance of the airport. She looks back at Smokescreen and smiles. "Love you." was all she said before walking into the airport and not coming back out.
