Marie-Ann grumbles under her breath as she walks off the public bus. She pulls down her sleeve to hide the metal arm that replaced her left arm. Feeling empty that she was now some cyborg freak.

The past was in the past. Yet she couldn't let it go. Marie-Ann winced at the memory of the terrible crash. Remembering the pain shoot through her like lightning. Only one scar ran down the side of her face from a shard of glass. While both her legs were now made of metal. As well as her left arm. Her entire chest was covered in metal with some wire injected into her throat.

Looking toward the house that Miko was staying in while she was in America. Taking in a big deep breath. Marie-Ann walked up the porch and knocked on the door with her metal hand. Glad that she covered it with her black glove.

The door opens up and exposes her favorite Japanese cousin. Seeing her pink streaked black hair. Miko wearing a black skirt and a red tank top. Once Miko caught sight of her cousin she immediately pounced on top of her.

"Oomph!" Marie-Ann said as she hit the ground with her cousin on top of her. She groaned loudly and patted Miko's head. "Nice to see you too." Marie-Ann grunted out. "M.A, I'm so glad to see you again!" Miko said instead of saying her entire name. A smile appeared on Marie-Ann's lips when she heard her cousin's voice. Happy herself to see Miko as well.

Finally getting off of her cousin. Miko helps Marie-Ann back up to her feet. Marie-Ann made sure she didn't use her new hand or else she may be figured out too quickly. "So how has it been here?" Marie-Ann asked as she and Miko walked inside. "It's been fun, I've made lots of friends! Some I hope you may meet!" Miko said brightly. Marie-Ann just smiled at how happy her cousin was. She remembered when they I.M. Miko would always tell her about how awesome her friemds

were.

"Girl, you talk about your friends so much I'm surprised I haven't met them yet!" Marie-Ann said with a laugh. Miko just smiles at her and heads upstairs to help out Marie-Ann's things up so they could talk more.

Marie-Ann remained downstairs because she wanted to look around a bit. She came in from Russia and never seen an American home before. She walks to the living room and saw something on the coffee table. It looked like some small computer but had an odd symbol on it.

Picking up the odd object. Marie-Ann examined the symbol and it reminded her of a robot with the shape. "Don't touch that!" Miko said quickly as she snatches it from Marie-Ann's hand. "Why don't we go for some food? You hungry? Why don't we go to K.O? It's a good place for food and I'm good friends with one of the workers!" Miko began to blab on and on. Making Marie-Ann stare at her both in confusion at her secrecy but also wide eyed at how fast she could talk.
