The church was filled with quite a few people. Most of the people were from Seattle Grace Hospital (at the time) since neither Denny or Izzie had a lot of family there. Everybody was rushing because they needed to get back to the hospital. There were people everywhere doing something. The whole room seemed to be spinning and chaos filled the church. Behind the church doors, Meredith and Cristina were preparing Izzie to walk down the isle. Finally, Izzie walks out into the church with tears in her eyes. Suddenly everything becomes still. The whole world stops and the only person she can think about is Denny. Although Denny is manly man, a tear or two slip down his face when he sees Izzie. Just for a minute, they both have peace. Neither one is worrying that Denny will pass away. It's perfect.
Their service was short, but sweet and filled with love. They did not get married right after the prom for the chief's daughter. By the time Denny proposed officially, Addison had left and Mark was sleeping with Callie. Currently Derek was seeing Rose and Meredith was going to therapy. Burke had just left Cristina and she was doing her best to cope. George and Lizzie had just got an apartment together. Alex and Eva (Rebecca) had just learned they had a baby. She actually was pregnant.
Everyone wished them luck and got back to the hospital. The two headed their way to the airport in a black limousine. Both knew they would live their lives somewhere else with occasional visits to the hospital.
"I'm kind of glad you cut the wire." Denny said with a chuckle. Izzie gave him a glare with a smile.
"Me too. I don't know what I would you do without you. Ah, yes I do. I would spend my whole life baking." she replied while placing her hand on his head.
"You can still bake for me," Denny began, "I mean I would love to watch you bake. You're my girl."
Izzie gave him the biggest smile and kiss on the cheek. She put her head on his head and held his hand the rest of the ride to the airport.
