Part Two - Blackout

Chapter 2

Chloe's pov⭐️
I woke up in my bed, a space next to me where the duvet had been moved. I heard the shower running in the bathroom. I sat up, trying to flatten my hair. I remembered last night with Riker, I was over Ross. And the kiss... it was magical... Suddenly my door flung open and Riker came in only wearing a towel, his hair dripping wet. "The princess has awoken," he said sarcastically.
"Very funny," I giggled back at him, "now go put some clothes on!" I launched a pillow at him and he trotted back into the bathroom laughing, grabbing a pile of his clothes on the way. I got up and checked my face in the mirror, my mascara was all run from last night, and let's not even start on my hair! I cleaned up my face and tried to brush the frizz out of my hair. I grabbed my dinosaur onside from my wardrobe and pulled it on, it was so comfy. Riker walked back in, now wearing sweat pants and a long sleeved top. "Pink dinosaur eh? That's a first!" He laughed grabbing me by my waist and throwing me on to my bed.
"You don't say, smarty pants!" I giggled, getting up and chasing him downstairs.
Suddenly Riker's phone buzzed, he looked down, his eyes widened and he typed a few words. "Chlo, I totally forgot, I have band rehearsal now..." He said innocently, "you wanna come?"
"Will Ross be there?" I asked anxiously.
"Yeah..."
"I-I don't know..." I replied.
"Don't worry, I'll be with you, he won't say anything. While we're practising you can chill with Ryland, so whaddya say?" He smiled at me. I sighed and gave in smiling. He kissed me on the cheek and piggy backed me to the car. "Come on my little pink dinosaur!" He laughed starting the car.

Riker's pov⭐️
I jumped out and ran to the door, hurrying as I was late for practise. Chloe followed me in, I could tell she felt awkward. "Don't worry," I whispered to her, taking her hand. She squeezed it tight and moved closer to my body.
"Riker, you're late!" Rocky called out. "Sorry bro," I asked running my hand through my hair, "where's Ry?"
"I'm here, just going to the store" Ryland said emerging from the kitchen.
"I'll go with you," Chloe said smiling and letting go of my hand as they both walked out the door. I headed to my siblings to start the practise. "H-how's Chloe...?" Ross said suddenly from the corner of the room.
"She's alright now, no thanks to you," I replied.
"Look it's not my fault!"
"How isn't it? You cheated on her Ross..." I said blankly.
"Yeah bro... It's yours and no one else's?" Rocky said.
"I know but I didn't mean to, I just need to explain it to her!" He said strongly, standing up and walking towards me.
"Just leave her... You'll just hurt her again." I said sternly. Suddenly Ross raised his fist.
"Just stay out of this!" He yelled, an before I could stop him, slamming his fist into my face. Then everything went black. I heard Rydel's faint yelping and I blacked out...
