Part Six - My Girlfriend

Chapter six

Rocky's pov⭐️
I needed to find Chloe. Say I'm sorry. Explain to Riker. Get them two to talk. "Damn Rocky why did you have to be such an idiot..." I said hitting myself on the arm. Chloe's tall house loomed over me, I didn't want to do this, but I had to. I knocked softy on the door and waited. I heard footsteps and the door opened, I could see her eyes still teary. "Please! Before you shut the the door. I shouldnt've done what I did, y-you just looked so vulnerable and sad..." I said looking at my feet.
"You ruined everything Rocky..." She whispered between sobs.
"I'm here to make it better, I am so sorry Chlo, please..."
"Riker won't care anymore, after what Ross said and what just happened... But thanks for trying," She said begging to cry even more.
"Permission to hug?" I smiled softly, she nodded in response and I pulled her into a hug.
"You don't actually believe Ross do you?" I asked.
"I don't want to but... It makes sense." She cried into my shoulder.
"I promise you, were both going to find Riker and I'm going to make things right okay?" I said looking into her eyes.
"Okay..." She said looking like a frail leaf.
I scooped her up and she carried on crying into my shoulder, "you wanna walk?" I asked laughing. She shook her head in response. "Looks like I'm carrying you then!" I said softly.

I dropped Chloe down outside our house and stepped in. Everyone else was still out, you could hear Riker's sobs from upstairs. This set Chloe off again and she collapsed into my arms, "come on, just up the stairs and you and Riker can cuddle and never, ever be apart again." I said pushing her hair behind her ears, "I was a jerk and I'll do anything to fix what I did."
We slowly walked up the stairs, and I knocked on mine and Riker's door, Chloe hid right behind me. "Who is it?" Came Riker's wobbly voice.
"It's me..." I replied slowly,
"Leave me alone..."
"Please. let me say one thing then I-I'll leave you alone..." I said confidently, I was going to fix this. The door was pulled open, Riker sat back in the corner of his bed, head in hands.
"Look, it's my fault, Ross was sending her horrid stuff, a-and she looked so sad I just couldn't help myself." I said guiltily.
"But she didn't stop you..." He sobbed slowly.
"But bro she did, she was trying to push me away, I-I was just a total jerk..." I said guiltily.
"She doesn't want to see me anyway..." He said looking up.
"Chloe's right here..." I said as she came out from behind me. Riker looked up and the two connected, looking into each others eyes.
"Why Riker? Why were you planning on just leaving me once I felt better about Ross? I thought you really cared about me!" Sophie cried backing into me, I gave her a soft shove forwards.
"I never said that! Any of it! I-it's just Ross, he's making it up for some reason I don't know why... But I care about you. I've always loved you! Please Chloe believe me. I love you." Riker cried tears streaming from his eyes.
"I-I love you too." Chloe replied running toward Riker, crying even more as he held his arms out.

Riker's pov⭐️
I scooped her up onto my lap as Rocky slipped out, a smile on his face. I was still annoyed at him... I could feel Chloe's tears soak into me. I wanted to stay like this forever, her in my arms. "I promise I'll never ever leave you again," I whispered.
"Me too," she whispered back. I gathered up all my courage, for what I was about to say... What if she rejected me? What if it didn't come out right. Just say it Riker.
"Chloe, will you be my girlfriend?" I said softly looking down at her. She looked up, her head emerging from my chest, her big green eyes looking up at me.
"Of course I will Riker." She said pushing her lips against mine. Her hands slipped down my torso as I pulled her closer. I ran my hands through her soft black hair. Our tongues met as she put her hands on my chest. Magical. I never wanted to lose her, ever again. She looked up and smiled and our mouths met again, softly. Until we heard giggling coming from the doorway, we immediately pulled apart and turned to see Rocky, Ryland and Rydel mainly giggling and smiling in at us through an open door. "Do carry on! Your just getting in to it!" Ryland laughed winking. We all laughed and Chloe gave him a sarcastic smile. Rydel cried out, "you two are soooo cute!"
"And this is all curtesy of me!" Rocky said sarcastically. I decided to ignore my brother, I had good reason to. We sat in silence, the three of them staring at us...
"Scoot!" I laughed shooing them with my hand, they all trotted out and closed the door.
"Sorry about that Chlo," I winked at her.
"You don't need to be," she replied kissing my cheek and resting her head on my neck.
