"No it's fine. It's been years since its happened." She smiled but I knew she wasn't happy. I may not care for my parents but I would still feel a bit of remorse for them, they brought me into this hellish world, even though they tried to take me out of it on more then one occasion.
"So tell me more about yourself." I said trying to get off the topic. She giggled and it made me blush just a little bit. She had cute giggle.
"Well, after my mom died I was asked to train for the guard. I accepted even though I knew I would probably end up like my mom but I didn't care, the safety of who ever the new king would be is more important than my own." She stopped. "And from the stories I've heard from the guards, I don't think you'll need any help with that." She smiled. "Ever since I accepted the offer I've been training to become the first female Captain of the guard. not much has happened since then. Well till now at least."
"How long has been since the last king was here?" I asked a little curious.
"Um, I don't know. Its been so long, maybe 25, 30 years. All I know is that he was killed when my mom was a kid."
"What!? Its been that long? Why didn't they elect someone, or make the royal adviser the king."
"They tried no one would do it, and he refused to take the place of king."
"So you didn't have king or a ruler for over 20 years?"
"Well we had the dragon."
So they for over 20 without a king. How does an entire realm do that? The mobs are a lot stronger than I thought. For next few minutes we sat in silence till a man about 40 years walked in the room, was dressed in a nice suit with a purple undershirt and black tie. His black hair was put up in a short pony tale.
"Herobrine?" He asked.
"Uh yes?" I answered. He looked at me displeased.
"Sir, I am your Adviser. My name is Edwin. You still have meet the royal designer, royal teachers and the captain of the guard. You also have to be assessed on your horse back skills, sword play skills, fist fighting skills, professionalism, intelligence and any other traits you have that could help better you as king and help the people of the nether and End to like you better. We also have to measure you for clothing and swords." He said.
"But I-" He cut me off before I could finish.
"Eh. No buts you're the king now. You have to do all of that." He said. I looked over to Sayomi and she sighed softly. It hurt to see her like that but I don't know why. I stood up and walked over to him. I was pretty short compared to him so with his style of clothing dark purple eyes and height I guessed he was an enderman. He walked down the hallway and I followed him close behind. It was silent for the longest time till he spoke up.
"First we're going to see the designer and get your measurements in then we're gonna go and see the teachers and test your intelligence." He said not even glancing back at me. The walk there was long and quiet. this guy didn't talk much unless he needed to. I just followed in silence looking at the paintings on the walls. The paintings were mainly painting of warriors or past kings in battle or holding the Netherian Scepter and The globus crucige. (Only the kings held those.) There was one painting that we walked by that was covered by a cloth.
"Why is that painting covered up?" He looked at me and looked at the painting.
"That is none of your concern." He said still walking. I followed him watching the painting as we walked by. It was weird that he said that but I didn't think much of it at the time.
Not long after all that we came to set of doors with sign above it that I couldn't read. Netherian language is so strange. He opened the door and motioned for me to go in, walking in I'm instantly struck with a bright light and bright pinks, purples, blues, reds and whole bunch of other colors. So this is what a royal designers room looks like huh? Wow I never thought it would be this bright in color here. Edwin followed me inside and stood next to me.
