I looked around. The venue looked different without all the fans. Outside, the aliens were everywhere. I realized that we would be here for a long time. I walked down the hall. It was dark and tbh really creepy. I knew Dan was scared of the dark but it was the only place with no windows. We all huddled close and I pulled out my phone to use as a flashlight. As we stepped through the hallway, the only thing that we could hear was our own footsteps, magnified by the echo.
We came to a door. I went to open it. Suddenly, Dan screamed. "Geez Dan, she hasn't even opened the door yet. Why are you screaming already," Phil joked. "Oh yeah, sorry about that. False alarm. Everything's okay," Dan replied. I giggled to myself as no one could actually see each other.
After everything fizzled out, I went back to the door. I wiped my palms on my dress and opened the door. We all flinched and Dan started screaming "Don't hurt us! We're peaceful!" After everyone realized that nothing was going to kill us though, we entered the room. It was dark and a bit dank but at least it was something. The sign on the door said Dressing Room 3. We all looked at each other and crashed onto the couch.
"So that happened," I said, just to break the silence after awhile. "Yeah, and we're going to have to go alien to survive." "Oh my god, Phil. If the aliens don't kill us, your puns will," Dan replied. I tried hard not to laugh but a giggle came out. They turned to me. "So, um, thanks...for getting us in here, you know." I blushed. "Aww you're welcome. My name's Wynnie by the way. And I already know who you are. Wait, that was creepy, sorry. I'm just a really big phan, that's all." Dan laughed. "It's okay. I understand social awkwardness. You know, being the most awkward human on the planet." Phil laughed. "He's not kidding. We can't go a day without Dan here doing something embarrassing. It's a real problem, you know." Everybody laughed. I could tell I was stuck with the right two guys.
After talking for a few hours and, of course, getting them to follow me on every social media in true phangirl fashion, we all were hungry. "So...how are we gonna get food," Phil asked. "Well, there's the concession stand but that's only chips and candy. I don't mind but if you guys do, we can try something else." Dan and Phil looked at each other and laughed. "Are you kidding? We love crisps! This'll be great!" I smiled and laughed. Only now we had a problem, actually getting to the stand. That would be interesting.
We all crowded into the hall again. I got out my phone to use the flashlight. I was at 5% battery. This would have to be quick. We took steps together and I think Dan was getting closer to me. I didn't mind though. It was kind of nice actually. Suddenly, my phone died and we lost all light. Dan screamed like a little girl and grabbed me. I guess Phil put his flashlight on because now there was a spotlight on our little incident. We both blushed and let go of each other. Phil pretended not to notice.
We kept walking but this time Dan stayed close to me without it being dark. I guess we just sort of fell for each other, surprisingly not literally, knowing Dan. Somehow though, not officially dating your idol is not as hard as it looks. If you both genuinely like each other, it will work like any other relationship. Although, I don't know if that applies to everyone, so be careful if you do end up with a celebrity. Especially if they don't share their life through YouTube. Ok ok, mom rant over, NEXT PARAGRAPH PLEASE!
Phil's phone lit up the hallway and we kept walking. Eventually we came to a booth that said Concession Stand on it. It was locked though. We would have to pry our way in. I took my other shoe and flung it at the metal barrier as hard as I could. It made a dent. I guess those years of softball growing up paid off. I grabbed it and threw it again. The barrier caved in and we were able to climb through.
To our hungry eyes, the snack supply looked like a banquet of happiness. We climbed in and grabbed everything we could. Then we sat down and had a blissful moment of silence while we absolutely stuffed our faces. "Um Wynnie..." Dan started nervously.
Then, all of a sudden, an alien crashed through the wall. Even if you didn't see it at first, you would have heard it's ear splitting cry. "Ololololololo!!!" It cried out, making everyone cover their ears. "RUN," I screamed.
And cliffhanger, you're welcome. Things are heating up between Dan and Wynnie, huh? More of that in the next part which should be out later today or tonight. K byeee Queens.
