Beep-Beep-Beep

My eyes fluttered open.

Blinking a few times,adjusting my eyes to the light.I looked around the empty room,I was in.The walls were painted cream and there was a dark brown sofa next to a window at the far corner. Looking down at my arms there was a needle attached to me and to my left,next to the uncomfortable bed were I was laying was an annoying beeping machine.I was in a gown and a blanket covered me.I lifted my hands up and looked at them as they were the most fantasizing thing in the world.

"Ahhhhhh!"I screamed.

The door burst open,an Asian lady with a white collar shirt and blue jeans walked in with a clipboard on her hands.I shut my mouth and started to panic.Who the is she?Is she serial killer?

"How are you feeling,Kasia?"she asked calmed.

I looked around confused.Who is she talking to?She cleared her throat."Who are you talking to?"I asked.

She raised an eyebrow."It's obvious,I'm talking to you,since your the only one in the room"She looked down at her clipboard and wrote something down.

"I'm not Kasia!Who are you?!Where am I?!Are you a Killer!?"I panic.

The lady held her hand up.Gesturing me to calm down."Darling,your Kasia.It says so right here"she pointed at her clipboard."I'm nurse Chalise.Your in a hospital and to answer you last question I'm not a murder I'm nurse."

I'm at a hospital.What I'm I doing in a hospital?!

Kasia.My name is Kasia.I repeated in my head.

Chalise waited for me to say something,but when I didn't she started talking again.

"Kasia,do you remember anything?"

I thought for a moment.Nothing came up.Everything was a blare.My head started spinning.

"No,I don't"I looked down at my hands.

"Anything at all?"She questioned.I shook my head."Well,Kasia.I'm sorry to say this,but-"

The door burst open,showing two people walking in.It was a lady and a man.They walked toward Chalise and motion her to step outside.The three left the room,leaving me alone.That was strange.I played with my nails,which were painted pink.My nose scrunched in disgust.The color looked ugly and girly.My head started spinning.I shook my head and reach for a glass of water next to me.The cool water flowed through my dry throat.

Chalise and the other two,came back inside.I looked at Chalise,waiting for her to explain what was that all about.

"Kasia!"the lady scream,as she embrace me in a hug.I was still,not knowing what to do.Why is this stranger hugging me?

I pushed her off me."Who are you?"

She grinned at me."I'm your mom,sweetheart"

Mom?I looked at Chalise.She looked down ,but nodded.I turn to face my mom.

She was a small slender women.Her light brown hair was in a elegant bun.Her eyes were hazel. and was wearing a formal white dress that went right above her knees with some heels.Her make-up was simple and made her look young.She looked in her early twenties.

"Kasia,sweetheart.Are you alright?"I blinked snapping out of thought.

"Yeah,I'm fine"I whispered.

"Kasia,this is your father,Jon"I turned to look at Jon.

He was wearing a fancy business suit and had a case in one hand.His eyes were dark green and his short light brown hair was messy.His face show no emotion.He was about 6 feet and you could see he was strong.He looked like some secret agent or a killer.Okay,stop with the killer thought.

"Hi,Jon"I waved at him.Mom gave me a stern looked."Dad"I corrected myself.He nodded and waved back."Mom can I ask what your name is?"I turn to her.

"It's Anisa"I nodded.

"Why I'm I at the hospital"I asked.Both parents shared glances.Chalise cleared her throat.I forgotten she was still here.

"Well Kasia you,fainted from um lack of oxygen"she answered.I looked at her,but she was looking down at her clipboard.I turn to mom who simply nodded.I sighed.Why can't remember?Everything feels... weird.

"Kasia,you should get some rest.We're leaving to UK tomorrow."my eyebrows furrowed together.

"What state are we now?"

"We're in the USA,California"She said getting up.

"Why are we-"

"Just get some rest.You really need it"She cut me off.I nodded.They walked out the room leaving me alone.I was the only one is this room.The lights turned off and I layed back in the uncomfortable hospital bed and stared at the ceiling.

What happened?
