the hangover

Emily's POV

I woke up my head pounding and I felt like if I got up if just fall, I also had too very strong arms clenched around my upper body like if he let go he'd die. it's was comforting in a weird way, when I tried to break loose his grip only tightened.

"Are you going to let me out of bed?" I laughed

"Nope."

"Whys that?"

"Because, your gonna fall if you get up."

"Fair enough."

I nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck wresting my head on his jaw. There was a knock on the door and then Maura came in with some tea on a tray.

" Hello darling."

"Hello third mum." I said back, both if us giggling.

I sat up looking at her sit down on the edge of the bed.

She really doesn't care that when I stay we stay in Niall's room because we've been having sleep overs every Saturday since we were 6 and she knows that were nothing more than the best of friends.

"I just brought you guys some tea, if you guys need it, which I hope you dont, there's some Advil in the kitchen. you're welcome to stay as long as you want. "

"Thank you so much."

"Good morning sunshine." she said to Niall as she walked out .

I stood up immediately regreting it because I stumbled back on to Niall's bed.

"What do you need?"

"My phone, will you get it for me?"

"Sure thing" he said getting up and going over to my purse pulling out my phone.

I dialed my dad's number and waited for her to pick up.

Phone call convo


Dad: yes sweet pea ?

Me: Can I stay at Niall's, I'm just not feeling well.

Dad: did you drink?

Me: well.. Yes but only one beer, honest.

Dad: fine. but if I find out you drank more than that or that you aren't even at Niall's and you don't stay there there will be consequences, do you understand.

Me: yes sir. love you dad

Dad: love you too, I'll tell your mother you ate something bad and your staying at Miley's, we will cancel your afternoon class for extra curricular work.

Me: okay, thanks love ya bye.

END OF CONVO.




"Is it good if I just stay here? we can watch movies. " I said poking his cheek.

"Of corse."

"What movie!"

"Paranormal activity, we need to watch all 4!"


He got up and put the first one in, settling back into the bed he slung his arms around my body pulling me close into him closing any space inbetweener out body.

"Have you noticed how we are more like a couple than bestfriends."

"Yeah, I'm sure if a stranger just walked in right now they would think we are dating.

I woke up around 4 Niall still asleep, but I didn't even notice I had fallen asleep. I looked at my phone and I had 3 missed calls, two texts and a face time call from evan.


Evans a sexy biitchh ; why'd you leave me like that, I thought we were having fun.

I read the text not noticing that Naill had woken up.


"What does he mean?"

"Ohmygoshh, you scared me.. Nothing, we were just dancing and I left to get a drink." I locked my phone and dropped it on my stomach.

" Can we go downstairs and get some ibuprofen or Tylenol, something ?"

"Yeah let's go."

Nothing else really happend the rest of the day, we stayed at his house watching the old cartoons and movies while eating popcorn and twizzlers. We cuddled up together on his bed and stayed like that for the rest of the night until my dad called at around 10:40 telling me I had to come home for church tomorrow.


Niall drove me home, the car ride was quite boring, my head still hurt and I never had anything to do at my house. When I got home I went straight to my room not wanting to talk to anyone just wanting to take a shower and go to sleep and so that's what I did.

Niall's POV ;


I woke up to a knock at the door.

"Yeah, come in." I said sitting up rubbing my eyes and stretching out my arms.

"Are you going to church with Emily?" My mother asked

"Yeah, why.."

"You might want to get ready, it's 10:45, they pick you up at 11:00."

"Oh crap, okay.. I'll get ready." I said saying goodbye to my mum as she left so I could get ready.
